Hey guys so after seeing many people making teams with charizard y , I deceided too also to also :). This team is still kind of shaky I've done a bit of testing with it, but it still needs work. It has a free slot that I don't what to put in . Anyways here you go. Hope you like give feed back please. Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y Ability: Drought Shiny: Yes EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature - Flamethrower - Solar Beam - Focus Blast - Roost So the star of the show is obviously Charizard Y. Even before Genesect and Lucario was banned this thing was still destructive, but now it is even stronger. With A NUKE base 159 Special Attack, and the sun up it **** on anything that doesn 't resist it. Latios (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Recover - Defog - Draco Meteor - Psyshock Obviously if I use Charizard Y I needed a defogger even with roost it SR is still very annoying for it. So I chose Latios. why? 1) it is immune to SW and spikes. 2) It checks venusaur. Keldeo @ Choice Specs Ability: Justified EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature - Hidden Power [Flying] - Surf - Secret Sword - Icy Wind
My third pokemon I put on this team was Keldeo . Normally its kinda of stupid to use Specs Keldeo under the sun, but on this team it works great. This things allows me to completely wall bisharps which give me problems, since I have defog. I chose HP flying > HP ice because keldeo has access to icy wind and HP flying lets me wreck Venusaurs. Thundurus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power [Ice] - Volt Switch - Focus Blast Next up I put thunderous t. Since I needed a revenge killer and counter to talonflame and pinsir who can spam priority flying type moves and wreck my team, but after I put this thing in it quickly put a stop to that. I really like Thunderous because it has a stab volt switch which hits HARD and allows to gain momentum. Bisharp @ Leftovers Ability: Defiant EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef Adamant Nature - Pursuit - Sucker Punch - Iron Head - Swords Dance Now looking at my team I realized I lack physical attacker, which can be a problem. So I took something that really annoys and put it on this team. Bisharp... It is the standard swords dance set and i put pursuit > knock off because I noticed that the only thing that actually wall Charizard Y was Lat@os and bisharp is here to kill them. So Charizard can have fun in the sun.
