My first attempt at a solid X/Y team. Please comment, and feel free to point out any mistakes, or any ideas for this team.
Physical Sweeper

Ability: Rough Skin ===> Sand Force

Adamant Nature

- Stone Edge
Pretty nice set. Hone Claws > Swords Dance as it increases Accuracy, giving Garchomp access to Dragon Rush and Stone Edge. Dragon Rush > Dragon Claw as it has 20+ Power, and a chance to flinch.
Sandstormer/Special Sweeper/Special Wall
Robert (Tyranitar) (M) @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 HP / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
Mainly used to set up the sandstorm, so my Garchomp-Mega can take advantage of the new ability. Why not a special one? It can used as a sweeper too :).
Special Wall/Support
Florges (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Symbiosis
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef

Florges is a great Wish user. That's about it.
Scout/Sweeper
Scizor 2.0 (Talonflame) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
Priority 120 ==> 180 STAB Move. 'Nuff said.
Special Sweeper
Tyrone (Thundurus-Therian) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Agility
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
Really nice. Saved me quite a few battles, and I've swept entire teams with it. Huge base Special Attack, and combined with NP/Agility it becomes unstoppable.
Physical Wall
Slowbro (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Psyshock
- Thunder Wave
Fantastic for things like Garchomp or Talonflame. Mediocre stats and the perfect stall movepool makes it great for a physical wall.
My ladder is currently 1200. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
