Pokémon Rate My Team

Well, it's NonePiece here. I'm not dead. I've decided to RMT my current VGC team due to the commonness of VGC around here.

Well, allow me to bring this team's teambuilding process out.
I started this team out differently way back in May, where it looked like this:
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
Then I came back, and retried the team, courtesy of AD for finding the Pastebin. I realized in most battles I wanted Charizard X, I wanted Mega Venusaur. So that was a big issue. And then overall team bulk, etc, was less than what I wanted. It didn't provide enough offense, shockingly enough. Feigning the lead Charizard Y + Venusaur was the basis of the team, and then countering the enemy's checks on their team.

So, I started where I began. With a Charizard X and Gyarados. The Gyarados provided optimal support that helped Charizard defeat opposing dragons in the form of Thunder Wave, even if he could indeed survive most of them, taking no damage was better than surviving. So, I started scanning through grass types. So, naturally, I brought in the Ferrothorn. I then needed a Fairy type to complete my core and Gardevoir was probably my only bet. I decided I wanted Ally Switch shenanigans. It could save Ferro against fire, Charizard against Dragon, and everything else against miscellaneous stuff. So with the core rounded out, I needed 2 more. Feint Mienshao was a quick addition, due to the utility it provides. My last Pokemon came by in a need of a filler. Needless to say, it was Mega Tyranitar, and it became a valuable asset to this team. Before I bore you to death, here comes the team:

enter image description here
Bahamut (Charizard-Mega-X) (M) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 124 HP / 156 Atk / 148 Def / 52 SpD / 28 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect
Bahamut, king of dragons. I named him after the summon in Final Fantasy. Will-O-Wisp was to take down physical attackers a notch, due to my lack of Rotom. However, I rarely use it on anything not named Tyranitar. I'll be pretty lucky if he sees action against Tyranitar to begin with, due to my own being a good start to keep as not weak to opposing Tyranitar as possible. His EVs allow him to speed all 252 speed Neutral natured Tyranitars, and live most physical hit that can and will be thrown at him, including a Mega Tyranitar Stone Edge at -1. He was also EV'd to live special hits through Light Screen, but alas, I lack that now, and he is bulky enough. Flare Blitz and Dragon Claw are really powerful attacking options with Tough Claws and STAB. I realize I lack Roost on him, and that's okay. Charizard's job is to cripple. Whether it be burn or annihilate completely via Flare Blitz.

Unagi (Gyarados) (F) @ Wacan Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 208 HP / 76 Def / 28 SpD / 196 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Protect
- Thunder Wave
- Taunt
Meet my intimidate support. EVs and berry allow it to live a Modest Mega Manectric Thunderbolt, as well as intimidate allowing it to live just about every rock move under the sun, a lot even at +0. There's not a whole lot to say, other than it outspeeds standard Rotoms just to Taunt them into not using W-O-W or Protect. However, most end up infuriatingly trying to snatch the KO, which still sort of hurts. However, that opens Rotom to Ferrothorn or Mienshao, depending on the form. Waterfall 2HKOs Rotom-H through Sitrus Berry. Name is after the Avatar sea monster, which actually translates to eel in Japanese.

Bramble (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Def / 204 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Iron Head
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed
- Protect
The clutch, the staller, and the official bulkiest thing ever, right here, in front of you, being thorny. Allow me to just drop calcs on what it does.

Oh, and it lives the odd 252 neutral natured Kangaskhan Flamethrower. Not really a thing, but it's been seen more than once.
The goal of this guy is to eliminate any potential fire moves the opponent carries, or anything that would hurt him too much, and then stallfest 2014 at the end. Iron Head > Gyro Ball due to VGC's bulk over speed thing making Gyro Ball only about 75 BP on anything that really matters. The name is just a generic thorn-like name. If I get a Leech Seed up on any of those before getting hit, and they are at about 40%, they're dead. Anything else just can't touch it.

enter image description here
Uriel (Gardevoir) (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Def / 60 SpA / 4 SpD / 76 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Ally Switch
- Protect
The shenanigans this thing pulls are amazing. I can take hits other teammates are intended to, such as a fire move for Ferrothorn and have Ferro setup Leech Seed to start eating HP, or take dragon moves for Charizard and then he can KO in return with Dragon Claw. The possibilities are limitless if the opponent is slower priority or slower than Gardevoir. Ally Switch has +1 Priority. 76 Speed ensures I outspeed Mega Venusaur and 60 SAtk makes sure I 2HKO it with Psychic. Moonblast is STAB and likes killing dragons. Uriel is an Angelic name from the bible, and sounded sort of feminine, and Kyron also used it and I needed a name.

Michaelis (Mienshao) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Feint
- Protect
- Wide Guard
Another Kyron name, and a another hard physical hitter. I forgo Fake Out for Feint, as breaking Protect is just about the best thing ever if I need a death sentence on something that will Protect. High Jump Kick is just about only used when I taunted something and no ghosts are available to wreck my Mienshao. I went Regenerator due to Reckless being overrated and minimal heals can save you a lot. Wide Guard is for support.

enter image description here
Beelzebub (Tyranitar) (M) @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 236 HP / 12 Atk / 68 Def / 44 SpD / 148 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Dragon Dance
- Protect
What better name to give the second tyrant than the name of Satan himself? The dark tyrant here is designed to live and outspeed things, damage coming second due to Dragon Dance spamming being relatively easy when Gardevoir switches allies and a +1 Crunch either OHKOs Rotom or does close to full HP on it, allowing Gardevoir to clean it up. To get an idea of what this lives, AD had made 2 spreads, and I had combined the two. However, the screenshot of the two spreads is here: http://prntscr.com/45veqh if you would like to see what it lives. This is my main answer to rain, sun, hail, and sand. Nothing quite says "You're dead" you like a +1 Stone Edge or Crunch. Oh, and Gyarados is used in conjunction with this bad boy to take on Aegislash in some situations due to Taunt making Aegislash a sitting duck for a +1 Crunch.

Brazilian Gyarados set :kappa:
VCG! And a nice one, too. Battle sometime?
I actually edited the Gyarados on my own by looking at a NB report and realizing the optimization suxaphones :U
http://pokemondb.net/pokebase/rmt/34437/getting-somewhat-serious-business-made-minutes-dont-remember is where the original spread release I made on this is. Unless I'm missing an NB report, that should be about the only place it's around.

Sure Slashy, if you're ever on C:

Common leads:
enter image description here + enter image description here
This is an all purpose lead, as it applies immediate offensive pressure and support all in one. Wrecks just about all opposing non-rain leads.

enter image description here + enter image description here
Essentially a free Dragon Dance, anti-weather, and heavy offensive pressure. Not a lot likes running into this.

See my Charizard X + Gyarados lead and add in anti-weather.

I use tons of other leads, since just about everything leads well with each other
