Welcome, to a another Gen 6 UU team! The core idea of this team was to base it on the coat of arms of the major of Westeros from the popular Game of Thrones books whilst still being a good, functioning UU team. Also, as i wont really go into the GoT things, il reccomend listening to this to really get in the GoT mood (This is also a viable sunstitute for those familiar with the show) (I take no credit for these or the pictures below).
With that being said, here is the team:
Winter is Coming (Raikou) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
Something like Mightyena or Arcanine would probably have been better suited as House Starks representative in this team, but Mightyena sucks and Raikous Electric type became a good fit for this team, and as i said function is more important than design for this team. Assault Vest makes it incredibly bulky, able to take on such threats as Suicune with relative ease. Moveset is fairly obvious, and so are the EVs.
Hear me Roar! (Entei) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Iron Head
- Stone Edge
- Extreme Speed
Such a majestic lion. Anyhow, Entei is an incredible Pokemon with great coverage. It can KO several key Pokemon such as Florges, Chandelure and Noivern with its coverage moves, and deals with everything and everyone with its Sacred Fire. Extreemspeed allow it to pick of weakened threats, as well as compensate for its bulky EV spread. Bulk was chosen over Speed as, well, i didn't need more speedy Pokemon, and the additional bulk is great for taking on things that would normally threaten it.

Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Volt Switch
- Sacred Sword
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
This is more of a support mon. TW allows Entei to sweep whilst taking less amage, and Rocks are self explanatory. Sacred Sword and Iron Head are dual STAB and can deal a good chunk of damage to a lot of Pokemon, whilst the EVs help it live both long and prosperous. Also, its totally a stag perfect for to represent House Baratheon.
Growing Strong (Florges) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Aromatherapy
- Moonblast
This is my special wall and cleric. Wish and Aromatheraphy allows my other pokes that lack recovery or are susceptible to status to live longer, whilst Moonblast is there to avoid it being complete setup fodder.

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Calm Nature
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp
- Scald
- Night Shade
This physical wall is a absolute beast. Burn+max Def/HP makes it incredibly bulky, and toppled with Jellis already good natural SpDef this thing is a threat. Recover allows it to heal right back up, and while WoW and Scald might seem redundant Scald's STAB and chance to Burn help me put real pressure on many things that would otherwise wall me. Night Shade is there to do hefty damage.
Fire and Blood (Hydreigon) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Dark Pulse
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
Rounding things of with my sweeper. This Hyderigon serves as my scouter/late game sweeper, and with its STAB moves and Earth Power it can hit a good chunk of the meta really hard.
So that was the team. As I stated previously stated the team was merely inspired by a Game of Thrones, and i really wanted to focus to be on the Pokemon aspect. With that being said, i hope you enjoyed, and see you guys next time.
