You have probably noticed that these are only 5 pokemon, as I am unsure about the last one.
I have 3 fire weaknesses, and no real counter to charizard Y (and heatran too, so-so), so I am torn between scarfed politoed (with rain dance and drizzle) to rain dance after it mega evolves, or scarfed tyranitar, to just kill it with a rock slide. So please give me advice on which of these 2 to use (with movesets), and any edits to EV's or movesets of other pokemon. Also feel free to suggest I completely delete one pokemon and replace it with another. Any feedback is welcome :)

Also, I am currently using mega sceptile as my last pokemon, but got rid of it for this post (and replaced it with the choice of politoed or tyranitar) bcs i already had 3 fire weaknesses.
Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite

I am new to competitive pokemon so take this with a grain of salt.  metagross, ferrothorn, and bisharp are all metal tipes and weak against fire I know you have jellycent but I would recimend having your sixth pokemon be able to cover this.

Nice team, but as you already know, your team is weak against Fire type.
I suggest you using Rotom. (Rotom Wash Form)
Rotom wash is the Rotom's form that I personally favor the most. It has only weakness (Grass), and that's thanks to its ability Levitate.

This guy has lots of options of moves:

Stalling:

Item: Sitrus Berry or Lum Berry
Moves:
- Hydro Pump (No need to explain)
- Thunderbolt or Volt Switch
- Pain Split
- Will - O - Wisp

For acting more independently:

Item: Chesto Berry
Moves:
- Hydro Pump (...)
- Thunderbolt or Volt Switch
- Signal Beam / Hidden Power ICE/FIRE
- Rest

.
You also can choose to have Gyarados. (Gyarados)

This guy weakens Talonflame (Talonflame) or Arcanine with its ability Intimidate.

Item: Wacan Berry or Sitrus Berry
Moves:
- Waterfall or Aqua Tail(No, do not use Hydro Pump. It does pathetic damage.)
- Earthquake (Type coverage against Electric and Rock types.)
- Dragon Dance or Crunch (If you want Gyarados to act more independently, use Dragon Dance. For move-variety, use Crunch.)
- Ice Fang (Since Gyarados doesn't even learn ideal Flying type moves, It needs a move to defeat Grass types. Ice Fang is also an efficient move to check out for Dragon types.)

I am also a novice, and the information that I have provided may sound not viable. However, I tried to give you as much information as possible, and I would appreciate any feedbacks.

Ok, I think I will use rotom for this, as my main issue was charizard Y, so If I use hydro pump, thuderbolt, will-o-wisp and hidden power rock (for the charizard-Y's), I think this team would work well. Thanks for the feedback! Also I think I will give it a rindo berry (weakens super-effective grass type attack) to make it able to take charizard-Y's solar beam a lot better. Thanks!
Oh and btw I used scarfed tyranitar, and replaced jellicent with this rotom-wash set. I also kept sceptile and got rid of ferrothorn instead (Sceptile takes neutral damage from fire type after it mega-evolves)
Oh nevermind, I did some damage calcs and found out thudnerbolt does more than HP rock, so yeah scratch that, I think i will put volt switch on there instead.
