Here is my team for VGC 2016

Ditto @ Red Card
Ability: Imposter
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Transform

Ditto is used when there is a good pokemon is on the field or a pokemon with some stat boosts is on the opponents team. Red card can get rid of pokemon with stat poosts. Its used for general trolling and is pretty unpredictable. Further more it isnt seen much in VGC.

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Ice Punch

Fast and hard hitting. Knock Off and Fake Out provide good utility while Ice Punch provides good STAB. Ice Shard used when I am not fast enough to hit and I know I am going to get KO'ed. Life Orb provides more damage.

Whimsicott @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Worry Seed
- Dazzling Gleam
- Taunt
- Leech Seed

Whimsicott is great to get rid fo Mega Rayquaza as Worry Seed takes away Delta Stream and an Ice Beam from Kyogre or Ice Punch from Weavile takes it out. Taunt and Leech Seed are used as support. Focus Sash lets it survive as it defenses are weak.

Regirock @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Clear Body
Level: 50
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Drain Punch
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Tomb

Since this year many Uber pokemon have been allowed in the comp, I have noticed that many of them are physical attackers so I have included Regirock as it has a high defensive stat and decent attack so it may do some damage on the field. Thunder Wave is used to distrupt fast pokemon, Stealth Rock to break Sashes, Rock Tomb to lower speed and Drain Punch to recover HP.

Mewtwo-Mega-Y @ Mewtwonite Y
Ability: Insomnia
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Reflect
- Will-O-Wisp
- Aura Sphere
- Psychic

As said before, many of the pokemon to be used next year are physical attackers. Mewtwo has access to Reflect and Will-O-Wisp to help put these out. Psychic and Aura Sphere provide decent damage.

Kyogre-Primal @ Blue Orb
Ability: Primordial Sea
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Serious Nature
- Origin Pulse
- Thunder
- Ice Beam
- Protect

Primal Kyogre is a Sp. Def Tank and can handle many other Pokemon. The 4 EVs in speed allow it to outspeed all other Primal Kyogre's and hit them hard with Thunder.

You should replace sitrus berry on Regirock with leftovers for constant healing. You should also replace serious on Kyogre with bold to take physical attacks even better. Otherwise, pretty good team.

I know this isn't a rain team, but your P-Ogre will be useless if P-Don secures a firm grip of it's desolate land. It makes origin pulse useless (because desolate prevents water type attacks) and thunder (because P-Don gets a new ground typing when it becomes primal, plus it loses it's 100% accuracy). Also, you may want to run a neutral nature on ditto because timid doesn't benefit all of the great physical sweepers you could transform into, such as Zekrom and Groudon. One more thing: there is no obvious counter to Xerneas, and ditto does not count because your holding a red card, where they will most likely have a power herb. Aegislash is a pretty good counter to Xerneas, and if you out play your opponent, P-Ogre is a good response to P-Don. Other than a weakness to Xerneas, your team is pretty solid. Hope I helped :)

Generally with Ditto you use a nature that +speed and -def so you can outspeed and revenge kill stuff
Timed decreases attack not defense I'm pretty sure
That's not what I said .-. Timid is +speed -Attack. You recommended a neutral nature, which is just as bad. You should really use a nature that gives +speed -Def
