I've had some alright success with this team, but it's starting to fall short more times than not now.
Here it is:
WrappedUp (Cofagrigus) @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Knock Off
- Shadow Ball
My defensive presence. Works well as a wall and as a utility mon, but can be hard to keep healthy.
Bloat (Qwilfish) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Poison Jab
- Pain Split
- Waterfall
- Taunt
My main answer to Escavalier, and a mon that works well in tandem with Flygon. I have had Spikes in place of Poison Jab before, but have found I didn't have much for some fairies otherwise. I do consider this my most expendable mon and is usually my first option if in need of a sack.
Pomfery (Audino) @ Audinite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Protect
- Dazzling Gleam
Specially defensive mon, with cleric utility. Has proved to be quite one-dimensional at times, but this team does appreciate the Wish and Heal Bell support.
Lufthansa (Flygon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Def / 116 SpD / 24 Spe
Careful Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Earthquake
- U-turn
My main pivot. Counters many fire threats well with good typing and a strong STAB move in Earthquake. The EV spread I got off Smogon, and I chose a version with some more Sp. Def to take resisted special moves better.
Fox (Jolteon) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Signal Beam
Standard Jolteon, and I found Modest being more useful than Timid. Chose HP Grass over Water or Ice because it would OHKO Rhypherior, Gastrodon, Seismitoad and Quagsire on most occasions, allowing Jolteon to Volt Switch freely.
DinoMite (Tyrantrum) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw
- Superpower
Powerful physical option. Will outspeed a Modest Jolteon and the entire unscarfed tier (bar Accelgor), but has a limited strong movepool to offer options other than Head Smash and Outrage.
Let me know what you think, and how I might improve the team!
