So far this has been my most successful team for playing in OU. Most sets are slightly modified Smogon sets. I'm not great at recognizing specific threats to my team, so pointing out any particular Pokemon that could ruin my day would be appreciated. In addition, I know for sure that my EV spreads probably need some changes.
Dragonite @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 216 HP / 64 Atk / 114 Def / 114 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
- Roost
I've been flip flopping around with different Dragonite sets. Currently I have him using a bulky roost set, abusing Multiscale and Extreme Speed to finish off threats.
Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic
- Taunt
- Recover
My special wall. Different EV spread maybe?
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
Physical wall. I've thought about swapping Gyro Ball for Thunder Wave, though Gyro Ball is more useful than I expected, hitting fast Pokemon very hard.
Arcanine @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Extreme Speed
- Wild Charge
Hits hard, usually used as a revenge killer. Other trainers generally aren't great at anticipating his moveset.
Lopunny-Mega @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber (Scrappy after Mega Evolution)
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Return
- High Jump Kick
- Ice Punch
The most recent addition, and working out well so far. Considering changing Ice Punch to Power Up Punch or something else.
Eelektross @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 100 HP / 252 SpA / 156 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Acid Spray
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain
Special tank. Similar to Arcanine, Eelektross puts holes in teams that aren't prepared. I often use it as a lead. Acid Spray can force Pokemon to switch out.
Any input is appreciated. Thank you!
