I'm new to this site, but not new to Pokemon. The first Pokemon game I've played was Pokemon X, but I'm not going to talk that here.

I don't know much about STABs, but I do know that each nature gives a Pokemon a boost to their stats.
So here we go--

Decidueye(Sairon;Male)
Ability: Overgrow
Item: Decidium Z
Nature: he a sassy boy
Level: 85
Moveset:
Spirit Shackle
Leaf Blade
Feather Dance(only reason he knows this move is because he has a weak defense)
Grass Pledge

Sylveon(Drew;Male)
Ability: Cute Charm
Item: Fairium Z
Nature: Calm
Level: 83
Moveset:
Light Screen
Moonblast
Draining Kiss
Misty Terrain

Vikavolt(Groob;Male)
Ability: Levitate
Item: N/a
Nature: Bashful
Level: 81
Moveset:
X-Scissor
Agility
Iron Defense(again, weak defense)
Thunderbolt

Arbok(Kasey;Female)
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Poison Barb
Nature: Serious
Level: 78
Moveset:
Sludge Bomb
Glare
Haze
Gunk Shot

Hariyama(Mahi;Male)
Ability: Thick Fat
Item: Fightinium Z
Nature: Lax
Level: 71
Moveset:
Reversal
Knock Off
Smelling Salts
Close Combat

Zoroark(Zozi;Female)
Ability: Illusion
Item: Darkinium Z
Nature: Naive
Level: 71
Moveset:
Night Daze
Imprison
Payback
Dark Pulse

If you have any tips on how I can improve my team, let me know! I'm happy to recieve feedback!
(Note: Only asking his cause I'm trying to do the Battle Tree and then I'm gonna try some online battles. Again, any feedback will be great!)

I'm not trying to be rude but you should forget about making competitive teams for now and do some research. I'll link some sources you could look at.

When you do online battles, is it singles or doubles? Are there any Pokemon, moves, or abilities that you're not allowed to use? What are your EVs?
STAB stands for "Same Type Attack Bonus", which in damage calcualtion makes a move that is the same type as it's user do 50% more damage than a similar powered move that isn't the same type as it's user. :P

Vikavolt, Arbok, and Hariyama aren't great in the Battle Tree, so you may be better off replacing them with Medicham, Nidoking, and Volcorona (if you want to replace them with similar Pokémon and you have access to them), but I'm sure there are a lot of Pokémon in Alola worth using. :P

You may want to work on your natures and abilities (and maybe items, but that can wait until you get some BP), as not all of them may be the best for your Pokémon. :P

Having 4 Z-stones on 1 battle tree team isn't necessary; you only need 2. You should also look into investing in 2 Mega Evolving Pokémon (Metagross, Salamence, Medicham, Gengar, ALakazam, and Lucario are Native to Alola and great for the Battle Tree). You can use the Tapus for the Battle Tree, so you may want to consider that as well. :P

Having a lot of moves of the same type is pointless when they don't do much for the Pokémon: You don't need Grass Pledge, Draining Kiss, Sludge Bomb, Reversal, Payback, and one of Dark Pulse or Night Shade. :P

You seem to run most Pokémon with a Physical and special attack. With a majority of Pokémon, this is a very bad idea, and running both Special and Physical moves on a Pokémon shouldn't be done unless you absolutely know what your are doing. I think the only Pokémon on your team currently who should do this is Zoroark- and if you do, it's only Physical move should be Sucker Punch. :P

What EV's do these Pokémon have, or what EV's to you plan to train them with? What IV's do they have? :P
it took me a while to find them, here they are:

Decidueye
Stats:
233HP(6-7 IVs/5 EVs)
227 ATK
165 DEF
203 S.ATK
223 S.DEF

134 ATK
131 DEF(22-23 IVs/3 EVs)
218 S.ATK
268 S.DEF(28-29 IVs/4 EVs)
154 SPD

Vikavolt
Stats:
236 HP(25-26 IVs/4 EVs)
157 ATK
176 DEF(31 IVs/4 EVs)
265 S.ATK(31 IVs/1 EVs)
166 S.DEF
127 SPD

Arbok
Stats:
194 HP(15-17 IVs/4 EVs)
196 ATK

111 SPD

Zoroark

When you do online battles, is it singles or doubles? Are there any Pokemon, moves, or abilities that you're not allowed to use? If you could completely re-do your EV training, what EVs would you use?
I absolutely refuse to use legendary/mythical or ultra beasts(including Type:Null, Sivally, and the Tapus). I get that they're powerful, but for Pokemon X and Pokemon Moon, my team was half legendary, half regular Pokemon. I'm kinda tired of using them right now.

I prefer to fight in singles. Doubles are eh, but I don't really have good competitive Pokemon at the moment, so I'm staying away from doubles for now.

I haven't played Pokemon Showdown or anything like that yet. I'm staying in Battle Tree for now, and will move on to online matches when my team is set in stone.

As for EV training, it's complicated, as I'm still learning about it. For Decidueye, I'll focus on his S.ATK and his Speed(fastest arrows in the west...or is it feathers???). For Sylveon, S.ATK and HP. I want my Sylveon to be a healer of some sort, though I know that'll be hard because of his nature. Zoroark will focus on S.ATK, Speed, and DEF, as it's kinda low.

Edit: I'll be swapping out Arbok and Hariyama with other Pokemon. I'm still thinking about switching out my Vikavolt, as I think that he has good(???) IVs/EVs. But he's not good in the Battle Tree(he is, but someone else said Vikavolt isn't good), so I'm still thinking about it.
yeah... just look at the links I gave you
I agree with what the Chickenboy person is saying. Also I think you should use Gengar, Gliscor, and Rotom instead of Arbok, Hariyama, and Vikavolt.
I agree with looking into the links of the first comment. I also will say that you shouldn't use a Battle Tree team online as online can be very different than the Battle Tree. :P
Just managed to snag a Haunter(evolved into Gengar shortly after) off of GTS, and I am planning on EV training it soon. However, it appears to have PokeRus, which I know is a good thing. What I want to know is how that will contribute to any EV/IV training I do with it.

I know there are different positions depending on the Pokemon and its stats and nature. My Gengar has a Calm nature with Cursed Body as its ability. Is that good, or do I need to do some more trading?
Pokerus doubles all the EVs that you gain. As for your Gengar, I would recommend breeding for a timid one because Gengar wants to outspeed as many opponents as it can.
Trying to breed for a timid Gengar now. Problem with that is that in order to get a Gengar, I need to trade Haunter. I would ask if someone would offer to trade and send it back to me when it evolves, but I don't want to disturb you guys just for a Gengar. You guys have been really helpful by the way, thank you!

While I'm waiting for a timid Gastly to hatch, I'm going to try and get myself a Rotom(I really like Rotom, it's adorable and is a really good Pokemon). I need to know what would be a good moveset, nature, and EVs to have for it. I know that it has different forms, so what would be a good form for it with how my team is? What about Gliscor? I'm guessing I need to focus on it's speed, and maybe its attack?

I want to also help out my Zoroark, Sylveon, and Decidueye. Their natures aren't the best, but they're still pretty good Pokemon. About a week ago, I was battling in the Battle Tree cause I was bored and wanted something to do. My team is 35-ish levels above all the other Pokemon, so we had a bit of an advantage there. I rarely had to switch out my Decidueye(he's strong). I only had to use Sylveon for Dragon types, and Vikavolt(RIP) was used for Flying types.

What natures should I breed for for Decidueye, Sylveon, and Zoroark? If I were to stick with their natures and just reset their EVs, what should their movesets and EVs be?
Rotom-wash @ leftovers
Ability: levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold nature
- will-O-wisp
- volt switch
- hydro pump
- defog

Also nevermind what I said about Gliscor. I forgot Ferrothorn was better. Have a moveset.
Ferrothorn @ leftovers
Ability: iron barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy nature
- leech seed
- spikes
- power whip
- gyro ball
I think Zoroark's current Nature is Fine. :P

Zoroark @ Focus Sash
Ability: Illusion
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Sucker Punch
- Flamethrower
- Night Daze

Gengar is also an amazing teammate for Zoroark because if Zoroark Disguises as Gengar, most arracks super effective to Gengar are not very effective to Zoroark and vice versa. :P

I think Decidueye and Sylveon should have the same sets whether you can give them the desired Nature or not, but the Nature does help a lot. :P

Decidueye @ Decidium Z
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 248 HP / 180 Def / 80 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Spirit Shackle
- Roost

You can play Sylveon Tanky or Offensive, your Choice:

Tanky (Sylveon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Hyper Voice
- Stored Power
- Wish

Offensive (Sylveon) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]  / Trump Card

Trump Card if you don't want to breed for HP Fire. If you are worried about getting Sylveon's Hidden Ability, you should be able to SOS for a HA Eevee in UM. :P
