=== [gen4ou] Sunny Days ===

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Crunch
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
Snorlax cuz I love it. Just kidding, my sweepers are kinda frail and Moltres and Breloom can’t really sweep (Breloom can with SubSeed a lil bit), so I need someone to switch into on special attacks. Return for STAB that can hit anybody pretty dang hard. Crunch for ghost types that will definitely switch in on Snorlax. Fire Punch for the Breloom (and heavy grass types that can out-tank Snorlax) that Snorlax hates. Earthquake because, it’s Earthquake!

Raikou @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 2 Atk / 30 Def
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Raikou is here to help out Heatran Raikou is a breaker for Heatran and is kinda a backup sweeper if that makes any sense. Substitute for setting up with Calm Mind, Calm Mind for hard damage against a lot, Thunderbolt for Calm Mind STAB. HP Ice was kinda random cuz I just needed some special coverage so I went with that. Leftovers pairs well with Substitute. SpA and Spd EVs for getting fast kills behind sub.

Moltres @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- U-turn
- Roost
- Flamethrower
- Sunny Day/Air Slash
The pivot of the team. U-turn because it’s necessary on a pivot for switching in and out. Roost for longevity because a pivot need to stay alive throughout the match. Flamethrower for, again, ridiculously good STAB Sunny Day boosted damage. I’m undecided for the last slot because I need Sunny Day for Heatran and Houndoom to be able to sweep, but without flying coverage I won’t be able to take care of fightings, a threat to both Heatran and Houndoom. EVs speak for themselves. Moltres need to be bulky in order to pivot. Leftovers for longevity.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Def / 20 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Seed Bomb
- Focus Blast
Breloom is here to get rid of all the t-tars and hippos and all the rock/ground types that this team HATES. SubSeed so that Breloom can stay alive long enough in order to take out the mons listed above and whittle at any other mon that switches in on it. Seed Bomb for doing what it does best, taking out ground rock water and even electrics if your lucky. Focus Punch for STABing all the steel darks in the meta.

Heatran @ Passho Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Sunny Day
Heatran is my main sweeper and also is the only member of my team (I think) that can use rocks. Stealthrock is there cuz rocks keep a lot of threats away like Moltres. Flamethrower for insane STAB sunny day damage, HP grass for heavy waters and ground/rock types, and of course, Sunny Day for weakened waters and stronger Flamethrower. Passho Berry so that waters don’t do too much damage to Heatran (in addition to sunny day) EVs in speed and SpA for even more damage and out speeding a lot of the meta.

Houndoom @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 84 Atk / 196 SpA / 228 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Overheat
- Dark Pulse
- Nasty Plot
- Sunny Day
I know Houndoom is in UU but there’s a limited amount of good OU fire types that can take advantage of sunny day (literally only two of them, Heatran and Infernape)
Houndoom is my late game sweeper because it has coverage with Dark Pulse, can set up with Nasty Plot and is AMAZING with sun. Choice Scarf is for outspeeding the enemy while sweeping. EVs for doing dmg and being fast. Simple.

I think sunny day isn't viable in DPP. You have to re-set the sunlight every 5 turns, and opponents can easily take advantage of those free turns.
