Breakdown of Each Team Member
Basculin: I start off with Basculin. I use Protect to see what kind of move my opponent uses, so I can use Flip Turn to a Pokémon that can take in that move. Ice Fang is for Grass Types. Aqua Jet is priority and can defeat weakened foes. It also helps with dealing damage against faster Pokemon such as Ninjask when Trick Room is not set up.
Cofagrigus: If I find that the opponent uses a physical attack, I could switch into Cofagrigus due to Flip Turn. Cofagrigus would then set up Trick Room. Nasty Plot is to raise Special Attack. Shadow Ball and Energy Ball are Cofagrigus' attacking moves.
Clawitzer: A really good wallbreaker. STAB Water Pulse with both Mega Launcher and Specs boost can do quite a bit of damage to an opponent who doesn't resist Water Pulse. Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, and Dragon Pulse gets Mega Launcher and Specs boost. A nice wallbreaker in Trick Room.
Escavalier: A nice physical sweeper in Trick Room. Megahorn and Iron Head are STAB moves. Drill Run is for Fire types when Trick Room is set up. Close Combat is for coverage.
Gurdurr: A really good Guts user in Trick Room. Facade does quite a bit of damage when Flame Orb kicks in. Mach Punch is STAB and is for priority outside of Trick Room. Ice Punch is for Flying Types.
Aromatisse: A Trick Room setter that takes special attacks. Calm Mind is to raise its Special Attack and Special Defense. Psyshock is for coverage and hits Special Walls. Moonblast is STAB.
As I use this team, I noticed that Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes are problems to the team. What Pokemon should I use to get rid of Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes? Any teammates I should replace?
