Jumpluff @ Focus Sash
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bullet Seed
- U-turn
- Dazzling Gleam
- Rage Powder
The only reason I'm using Jumpluff over a Pokemon like Amoonguss or Whimsicott. Well, 1: Whimsicott doesn't get Bullet Seed. And 2: Amoonguss is too slow for what I want to do. Using a Timid nature and 0 attack IVs allow me to boost Mudbray's defense and attack. Rage Powder allows me to redirect unwanted hits and U-Turn allows me to escape any Shadow Tag users (mainly Gothitelle)
Mudsdale @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stamina
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- High Horsepower
- Protect
The Big Man. Mudsdale is what this team is built around. Bullet Seed and Weakness Policy allows Mudsdale to get a boost not only in Defense, but a boost to an attack as well. Iron Head and Rock Slide are for coverage, and High Horse power for STAB, along with the universal protect. My main problem is that it feels like any decently powered Special move will kill it. This will get brought up later.
Cresselia (F) @ Wiki Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick Room
- Psychic
- Helping Hand
- Ally Switch
Here's the Trick Room setter, I know I'm using a Smogon Set but it's a good Smogon Set. Trick Room is because, Trick Room, along with Helping Hand and Ally Switch allowing Mudsdale to power through Pokemon that could give it trouble. Note I want to keep Mudsdale out for the entire battle.
Gastrodon @ Groundium Z
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 236 HP / 152 Def / 36 SpA / 84 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Protect
Gastrodon serves the point of absorbing water hits. Too bad the most used water moves in doubles is a spread move. Still though, Gastrodon is still important. Ice Beam over Icy Wind since the whole point of the team is to be slow, and Groundium Z over Wiki Berry because having that nuke option, especially after a potential Storm Drain Boost is big.
Ferrothorn @ Assault Vest
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Atk / 88 Def / 80 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip
- Knock Off
- Explosion
Why? Idk.
Ampharos-Mega @ Ampharosite
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Eerie Impulse
- Dragon Pulse
- Protect
Yes, I'm using Mega Ampharos, Yes, I'm running Eerie Impulse. Why? I've said this before but Mudsdale gets hit hard by special moves and I need a way to counter that on most Pokemon. Jumpluff: Rage Powder. Cresselia: Ally Switch. Gastrodon: Storm Drain. The two moves that I struggle against the most are Blizzard and Surf, Spread moves that ignore these affects. So in order to Keep Mudsdale alive with spamming Protect is to lower there attack. Mega Ampharos fills out this role decently and has some good power. Everything else I've mentioned before with other Mons.
So: how's my team. What should I change, any Pokemon I should replace. Definitely don't have a use for Ferro, So a replacement would be nice.
Edit: Eerie Impulse is useless, changed it and replaced it with thunderbolt, also gave all Pokes outside of Jumpluff 0 Speed Ivs. Also considering of replacing Jumpluff with Comfee, what do you think?
