Hey guys, I know I just brought my sand team, but I want some opinions on this team now I've been working on. It's my favorite team by far and it's super fun to play. I made some various tests and played against / with many Dialga teams before building it. Here's the breakdown
Playbunny (Lopunny) (F) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Klutz
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Switcheroo
- Double Kick
- Protect
The star of the team. She plays 3 roles in the team: Fake Out, Burning (Switcheroo) and Weakness Policy Proc. I could lie and tell you that Lopunny is a good Pokémon, but the truth is I managed to find a niche pick using her as a support. I am open to suggestions, but since she is the Ace, not planning on changing it.
Among Us (Amoonguss) (M) @ Coba Berry
Ability: Effect Spore
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 4 SpA / 92 SpD / 4 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rage Powder
- Spore
- Pollen Puff
- Protect
Amoonguss just play the Amoonguss role here, it's a good support for Dialga and Zapdos, and can help Grimmsnarl getting it's screens up.
Rawr Of Tim (Dialga) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Pressure
Level: 50
EVs: 244 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roar of Time
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Protect
Dialga is the main sweeper of the team. It has amazing bulk, great Special Attack. I usually find myself leading it with Lopunny or Grimmsnarl the most. Weakness Policy can be proc with Lopunny's Double Kick or by the opponent.
Zappy (Zapdos) @ Life Orb
Ability: Static
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 28 HP / 228 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Protect
Zapdos is a good 2nd sweeper when Dialga dislikes the matchup. This thing with the Grimmsnarl lead is very good, even with lesser investement this thing's bulk is very good, and Fake Tears help this thing break through so many things
Incinirawr (Incineroar) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 148 Def / 76 SpD / 28 Spe
Careful Nature
- Fake Out
- Flare Blitz
- Snarl
- Darkest Lariat
Incineroar just plays the normal Incineroar role. I prefer Darkest Lariat over U-Turn because it's a more reliable way to deal with stuff like Calyrex-S or Dragapult.
Gwimsnawl (Grimmsnarl) (M) @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 164 Def / 76 SpD / 12 Spe
Careful Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Fake Tears
- Spirit Break
Grimmsnarl is basically the best support here. Can make Dialga and Zapdos super bulky with screens, ignore Snarl / Eerie Impulse with Fake Tears. I normally say to myself: "In doubt? Lead Dialga / Zapdos and Grimmsnarl".
Uhh I think that's it! I don't have much explanations on Pokémon such Amoonguss and Incineroar because they play their normal roles and they're "standard" to Dialga-structured teams. Hope y'all like this team :)
