Edit: Missed the part about explaining the team
I wanted to build a team around Calyrex-Ice because it’s a strong pokemon and covers a lot of other pokemon.
Terapagos was my next choice because Calyrex made me want to try to build a trick room team and terapagos was the only other really slow restricted pokemon.
I chose dusclops and farigiraf to be my trick room setters because they’re relatively slow and dusclops is bulky and farigiraf has some good support options while also being able to deal decent damage.
Basculegion was chosen for its ability to deal great damage and has the option to work outside of trick room.
Incineroar was chosen because it’s a great pokemon that works well on almost any team.
I’m just starting out with VGC, so I’m not great at team building right now, but hopefully I can get better.
