Ok i know who works in rain and how it works and all that but i have never had any sucsessfull offensive rain teams, my others failed and i was to used to rain stall, but i tried some of the basic pokemon twidddled with sets and here we go.
Froger (Politoed) (F) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SAtk / 24 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Hidden Power [Grass]
Specs+Stab+Hydro Pump= complete annihalation to any pokemon to that dont resist it.
Ive tried loads of politoad sets and this one is my favorite and it rips through the first few pokemon it bumps into.
Hp grass is my one chance of taking out Jellicent with a 2hko But appart from that the rest is preaty self explanitary though the ev spread is odd.
You may not like the ev spread but it allows me to Out speed the slow pokemon and tanks that dont run evs but at the same time gives me bulk to suvive a hit.
Jellyfish (Jellicent) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Water Spout
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Shadow Ball
This pokemon is the funest pokemon ive ever used, a scarf set is great and water spout in rain hits like a truck.
Everything here may seem odd but you should defintly try it, ive found a new love for jellicent.
Brick (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Swords Dance
- Power Whip

Stab hurricane hits most pokemon neutral in Ou which leaves a big problem for opponent when this guy has specs it hits like two trucks.
Psychic is just there as i have a lack of psychic moves for pokemon like conkelduur when rains not up.
Focus blast gets rid of heatran and tyranitar and u-turn is for scouting.
Cleric (Blissey) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 248 Def / 8 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Icy Wind
So the whole team is offensive, but i needed a cleric and a support pokemon.
Blissey can wish pass to injured choiced pokemon allowing me to restart a sweep with full hp.
Icy wind may seem odd but it makes the opponent want to switch out allowing me to do a safe switch in to a pokemon like politoad.
Toxic is obvious as is seiscmic toss, terrakion wrecks blissey but luckly i have jellicent.
Tomato (Scizor) (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Superpower
Green tomato*- But Scizors was used on around 35% of all teams in Ou last month and 8% in ubers, do i need to say much more than that.
But as for set, bullet punch with 1 or 2 swords dance up is deadly as is bug bite and super power.
Ok theres the team, the team synergy is good and i have no big threats appart from rotom wash but that is dealed with by pokemon like blissey.
The biggest type weakness is electric but once again blissey can take almost no damage from a non stab thunderbolt as will scizor and ferrothorn, i may put in gliscor for ferrothorn.
Before i finish yes the team has some preatty basic pokemon used but once again im using unusual movesets to meet my needs and so far the team has been great.
