Youll have to wait a bit for our OM main friend to come on :P
But i will note as someone who has tried it you need some mold breaker and neautralizing gas pokemon to ignore sturdy shedinja, wonder gaurd, and others.
Also because of the infiinite mvepool and abilities, most of those mons are ouclassed by stronger legends.
Who is the om main friend?

Also, I don't have any experience playing Pure Hackmons, but this doesn't look viable to me.
I play PH a lot and no this team doesn’t look that good.

1. Yeah the standard set, except for the fact that you changed the Ab and the Moves and the item. Ability should be Neutralising Gas and Moves should be Sheer Cold (or Fissure) / Thunder Cage / Taunt / Recover. Item should be Safety Goggles.

2. No. Do this:

Eternatus-Eternamax @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 240 SpD / 252 Spe
Careful Nature
- Fissure
- Rapid Spin
- Magic Coat
- Copycat

Hazard Control. Can’t say anything more. Also acts as a cleaner of RNG is with you.

3. Wont work. NG is the most popular ability, and ergo, this thing is just a waste of a team slot. Let’s go for another Eternamax.

Eternatus-Eternamax @ Black Sludge
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Substitute
- Horn Drill
- Lava Plume

Standard set again. Sub is very irritating because of it’s omg bulk. Rest is self-explanatory.

4. Um no. Do this

Giratina @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Dragon Tail
- Whirlwind
- Recover

Just to irritate Eternamax and phaze them out. Very fun set.

5. You can either do the Max that I suggested in place of Shed or do a Max-Speed Regieleki with Taunt / Spikes / Fissure (or Knock Off) / Recover with NG.

Or do this to be on the offensive side:

Calyrex-Shadow @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 30 HP / 0 Atk
- Spore
- Shell Smash
- Psystrike
- Stored Power

6. We’re lacking on Offense a little especially if you don’t do Cal-S, so lets do this

Obstagoon @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Neutralizing Gas
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
IVs: 30 HP
- Stored Power
- Shell Smash
- Power Trip
- Spore

Bwahaha late-game sweeps ez.

I can’t really do a detailed answer as I’ma bit busy nowadays, but will do when I get the time.
And @DrowsyDrakloak Mold Breaker is outclassed heavenly by NG, as NG ignores the effects of all abilities, so WG becomes real bad.

And I disagree with your last statement. Obstagoon is one of the most fearsome sweeper in Gen 8, and Gen 6 had offensive behemoths such as WG Gyara and defensive ones like WG Audino-M and Scizor-M etc dominating. Legendary is just a classification and it doesn’t mean that they are always good in a format where anything can get anything.
Exactly why i called you the person who main this :P
Also why so many ohko moves?
Oh lol

And OHKO moves can be described as the meta, in previous Gens HO was so common and No Guard Deo-S were on almost every HO team and even on a few Balance, they finish games so quick, free ELO, you can say. Now, with Neutralizing Gas being everywhere, the other abilities lost their viability, and therefore you’d see many OHKO moves even on non-No Guard Pokémon, same reason, they finish games quick.
Another reason is Eternamax’s godly bulk. You either need a Cramorant or OHKO moves or serious strong hitters (Stored Power Rex) to get them, as like they survive almost *everything*. Eternamax is the meta ofc, and to end them, you need OHKO moves.
Plus it gives you a fairly nice advantage if you hit a few early-game.
