Time for my epic team of snail-paced Pokémon that are faster than a speeding bullet... but not really!

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 S. Def / 4 Def
Nature: Relaxed

  • Trick Room
  • Gyro Ball
  • Reflect
  • Toxic

The Room Maker.
Trick Room is to make all of our slow pokemon fast, Gyro Ball is for STAB + slowness boost, Reflect is for team defense boosting, and finally Toxic for forcing switch outs and dealing chip damage.

Reuniclus (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Def
Quiet Nature

  • Psychic
  • Shadow Ball / Thunder
  • Focus Blast / Thunder
  • Trick Room

Room maker + Special Sweeper.
This Reuniclus is an all-out attacker that doesn't take status damage including the damage from Her life orb, so that's a free power boost! She can't take burn or poison damage, Spike or Toxic Spike damage, Stealth Rock damage, or Leech Seed damage, which is awesome! Psychic is for STAB, Shadow Ball is for coverage on Ghost and Psychic, Focus Blast for coverage on Rock, Ice, Normal, Steel, and Dark, and Thunder for coverage on Water and Flying. And finally, Trick Room for making us go first. Thanks for the suggestion Amethyst!

Escavalier (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpD / 4 Atk
Sassy / Brave Nature

  • Mega Horn
  • Iron Head
  • Drill Run / Razor Shell
  • Knock Off

Bulky Physical Sweeper.
I've already talked about how much I like this thing on the movesets page for Escavalier so I'll shorten it here. Max defenses, Assault Vest, and Trick Room Make this thing crazy fast, super bulky, and strong. Mega Horn for STAB, Iron Head for STAB (imagine if this thing got Gyro Ball!), Drill Run for coverage on Rock, Fire (but I wouldn't send him in on a fire type unless I'm sure that we can OHKO it), Steel, and Electric, or Razor Shell for coverage on Rock, Ground, and Fire, and Knock Off for coverage on Psychic and Ghost, and crippling Item dependent Pokemon.

Avalugg (M) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Brave / Naughty Nature

  • Icicle Spear
  • High Horsepower
  • Body Press
  • Mirror Coat

Physical Sweeper + Special Sweeper Nuke.
Warning! This is a very Niche set and I am going to make another moveset for a different pokemon in case you don't like this one. Icicle Spear is STAB, High Horsepower is for coverage on Rock, Fire, Steel, and Electric, Body Press for coverage on Rock, Normal, Dark, Steel, and Ice, and Mirror coat to absolutely blast away and Special Sweeper that tries to go for the one-shot.

Machamp (M) @ Choice Band/ Life Orb
Ability: No Guard
Evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature

  • Dynamic Punch
  • Knock Off/ Ice Punch
  • Stone Edge
  • Cross Poison/ Bullet Punch

Alternative to Avalugg, Physical Sweeper
Dynamic Punch is For STAB + the confusion, Knock Off is for coverage on Ghost and Psychic + the item drop, or Ice Punch for coverage on Flying, Ground, Dragon, and Grass, Stone Edge is for coverage on flying, Ice, Fire, and Bug, and Cross Poison for coverage on Fairy and Grass, or Bullet Punch for coverage on Fairy, Rock, and Ice.

Trevenant (M) @ Sitrus Berry/ Liechi Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Atk
Brave Nature

  • Leech Seed
  • Substitute
  • Curse
  • Horn Leech

Sub-Seeder.
I think that things like low speed, access to ghost type curse, and Harvest make Trevenant a very solid pick for a Trick Room Sub Seeder. Leech Seed for Passive Healing, Substitute for setting up Leech Seed, Curse to put the opponent on a really fast timer, and to activate your berry, and they will most likely switch out, and Horn Leech for STAB + Healing off Curse and Substitute.

Alolan Marowak (F) @ Thick Club
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 HP
Brave Nature

  • Flare Blitz
  • Shadow Bone
  • Bonemerang
  • Brick Break

Physical Sweeper
This thing is going to hurt someone's feelings. Thick Club boosted STAB Flare Blitz with no recoil is insane, Shadow Bone for excellent Ghost STAB, Bonemerang for coverage on Fire, Rock, Steel, and Electric, and Brick Break For coverage on Dark, Normal, Steel, Ice, and Rock.

This has been HyperCube1221, signing out!

From what I know, Trick Room isn't typically a good archetype. I'm not sure how it is in DUU though.

What I do know for sure, however, is that you need more than one Pokemon with Trick Room.
@Amethyst Trick Room is apparently a good team archetype (usually) in Doubles, and is pretty nice in DUU too, though Sand Trick Room and Semi-TR are much better than what's posted here. And they already have >1 Pokémon with Trick Room (which usually is enough in DUU), though the building style and roles are messed up.
Cristal Maybach do you have any suggestions for how I can make the team better? I was thinking about replacing Avalugg / Machamp with a water type like Barbaracle or Octillery because of the low speed, potentially good bulk, and good attacking stats.
I'm sorry but I haven't played DUU in a long time. I can give some small suggestions, though, so I'd suggest if you don't run Barbaracle and/or Octillery, as both are pretty bad in DUU. You can check the VR's and Sample Teams to get a fair idea of how the meta works, though. https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/3598014/
Thanks, but this is for gen 7. Are Gen 7 DUU and Gen 8 DUU similar? I would assume not because of the lack of mega evolution and Z-Moves.
If this is for Gen 7, why does your title say "Gen 8"?
Amethyst I was talking about the Smogon page cristal sent me, that was for gen 7 DUU. My team is still for Gen 8 DUU. Sorry about how I worded that one lol.
Oh I’m sorry, I’m used to browsing the Cold Storage so I linked it without checking the generation. Anyways, the current Gen thread is https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/3658504/.
Thanks a lot!
