Gen 8 Anything goes SW/SH Singles OFFENSE IS THE BEST DEFENSE Team

Alakazam @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Energy Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
- Psychic
- Focus Blast

Just because this guy is a beast. Choice Specs combined with its already solid Speed is a tough combo to deal with. Energy Ball is to check any Water threat, Focus Blast for Dark coverage, Psychic + STAB, and Dazzling Gleam to check any Dragon types. The point is for Alakazam to be a fast special sweeper. Magic Guard is a blessing against all the stressful hazards and status changes.

Zacian-Crowned @ Rusted Sword
Ability: Intrepid Sword
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Play Rough
- Behemoth Blade
- Swords Dance
- Crunch

Built to be a fast physical sweeper, Play Rough and Behemoth Blade have STAB and the latter is a great way to check Dynamax mons. Crunch allows for coverage and Swords Dance combined with its Intrepid Sword Ability makes this guys check almost anything if allowed to Swords Dance twice. Fast physical sweeper set and its dual typing make it very hard to take it out without a super-effective hit.

Rotom-Wash @ Blunder Policy
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Substitute
- Thunder
- Hydro Pump

Rotom is here primarily because of its typing. Only weak against Grass types, and with somewhat decent defensive stats, the idea is to set up Substitute then boost Special Attack with Nasty Plot and create a special attacker to be reckoned with. Blunder Policy takes advantage of Thunder and Hydro Pump's low accuracy making it almost worthwhile to miss the attack. If you survive the turn after missing, with the double speed granted by BP, you've got a chance to get the job done or get in one last attack. Fast special sweeper set

Lunala @ Starf Berry
Ability: Shadow Shield
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Expanding Force
- Night Shade
- Tailwind

Shadow Shield reduces move damage to half if HP is at 100%. Used this time as a bulky special sweeper. Tailwind makes the entire team faster. Another option is to run Calm Mind to set the sweep. Starf Berry raises a random stat. Expanding Force and Night Shade provide STAB.

Ninjask @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Baton Pass
- Swords Dance
- Leech Life
- Roost

The real star of this team. this guy is meant to let you set up your physical attackers primarily, but it also works for the special sweepers. Swords Dance, and after the first turn Speed Boost activates. If you feel you can squeeze another Swords Dance go for it. Baton Pass to the mon that you want to set up. Leech Life provides STAB if necessary to attack and quickly take out a low HP mon.

Garchomp @ Life Orb
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Swords Dance
- Poison Jab / Fire Fang / Facade

Another fast physical sweeper. This guy speaks for itself. Life Orb to increase attacking power. Swords Dance this guy twice and the other team has a huge problem. Earthquake and Outrage have great coverage, power, and provide STAB. Poison Jab provides coverage against Fairy types and has a 30% chance to poison target, Fire Fang provides coverage against Ice types, and Facade works really well most of the time if status conditions are in play and this makes for a great unexpected counter.

Opinions or ways to improve?

Remove Garchomp, Ninjask, Rotom, and Alakazam for a start. Alakazam and Garchomp are entirely outclassed, while Rotom and Ninjask just aren’t good. I could go on for hours about the Lunala set, and Zacian normally doesn’t need play rough (especially when you have Lunala for Zygarde) and usually isnt jolly.
I'm sorry but this isn't helpful at all. For which pokemon do I change them for? Besides, seems like you didn't even read the descriptions and their functions.

Ninjask is a great setter and Garchomp is just a physical attacking beast. Alakazam may be not be that flashy but it has massive speed and spec attack.

Play rough provides stab and is a great check against pesty dragon types.

And if you can talk for hours about the lunala set at least say something that helps. Not just your capacity to do so.
I'm sorry if what I'm saying comes out as harsh/rude to you, but the team isn't good and can't really be fixed. Assuming you're in the low ladder of AG, what are you using the team for? Are you playing for fun or actually trying to win battles? If you're playing for fun, that's fine, as you can just use whatever you'd like. We only offer competitive advice, so teams that are meant for playing for fun aren't allowed on here.

If you're playing to win battles, then your team isn't that good, especially as you progress further up the ladder. Most Pokemon on the team are outclassed by other Pokemon. For example, Wash-tom is outclassed by Kyogre as an offensive Water-type. Since you're new, I suggest reading these things to help you grasp what the AG meta is like:
https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/ag-sample-teams.3675040/
https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/ag-viability-rankings.3672899/
https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/ag-metagame-discussion.3672172/

The only advice I (and some others) could give you is to build a new team after you learned about the AG meta, assuming you're playing to win battles.
@Elmello123 That’s why I wrote it as a comment and not an answer. Yes, I read the descriptions, and yes, you are capable of being objectively wrong.

No, ninjask is not a good setter. You’re just asking for ditto to come in and sweep this entire team, which it pretty much already can anyway.

Garchomp is completely and entirely overshadowed by Zygarde. Not much to say here. Zygarde’s insane movepool and stats just puts Garchomp to shame.

Alakazam is overshadowed by Mewtwo and (far more importantly) Calyrex-S in every way, shape, and form.

What dragons are you referring to that you can’t already OHKO with behemoth blade? Play Rough is niche if you can’t deal with Zygarde, but it’s just hard to pick that while passing up wild charge and close combat.

Lunala…I’ll go from the top down, I guess. The Berry is entirely random and luck-based, and the lack of boots is concerning. Attacking EVs and nature on a physical defender is uh…interesting. Night Shade isn’t STAB lol, it deals damage equivalent to your level. Expanding force is entirely pointless without psychic terrain. Tailwind won’t last very long, and calm mind won’t save you from getting OHKOd by Marshadow, Calyrex-S, and Yveltal who are INCREDIBLY prevalent. Lunala’s niche in the meta is to be a physical defender.

If one was to replace everything outclassed on this team, you’d get Kyogre, Zygarde, Zacian, Lunala, Calyrex-S, and some sort of suicide lead. This is an incredibly wonky team. The amount of changes your original team will need to be a good one is so astounding that it’ll just end up a brand new team.
This was all i wanted, if you would have explained it this way from the get go all would've been good. Obviously people are gonna feel attacked if someone says their teams sucks and more so if no actual explanation is given.

I get what you are saying and have indeed realized that the team actually sucks big time. I'm new to showdown and hadn't really read anything about the AG format. I have read it now and know better to even try to defend any of the mons in the team.

Again, thanks for explaining clearly and it will help me to improve my game.
