Pokémon Rate My Team

This is one of the first competitive pokemon teams I’ve ever created, I would love some help with it because I really like it!

Duck (Koraidon) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Orichalcum Pulse
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Collision Course
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Drain Punch

I almost always lead Koraidon to get the sun up for my team. He’s got the heat rock so the sun stays longer, flare blitz to take advantage of the sun, drain punch to restore health and collision course for when I want to do maximum damage.

Bus (Charizard) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Solar Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Pulse
- Solar Beam
- Air Slash

Charizard is supposed to be one of my main damage dealers, but he doesn’t have much staying power. He runs flamethrower (I don’t really like playing around with inaccurate moves), dragon pulse for neutral damage on most things, solar beam for when the sun is up, and air slash as standard coverage.

POW pow (Flutter Mane) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 251 SpA / 5 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Mystical Fire

Flutter mane’s just really good, especially in a sun team were it doesnt need to worry about activating protosynthesis. It’s got moonblast and shadow ball as standard STAB, energy ball for coverage and mystical fire to take extra advantage of the sun

Otter (Leafeon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 200 Def / 56 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Body Slam
- X-Scissor
- Sunny Day

Leafeon’s one of my more bulky mons, with leaf blade for STAB, body slam for the para chance, and X scissor for coverage. It has sunny day for when I need to set the sun back up.

Shroom (Brute Bonnet) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Sunny Day
- Crunch
- Protect
- Spore

This is my stall moon. Spore to sleep, protect cause idk, sunny day in case leafeon is down and crunch for damage. I’m not really happy with this mon.

Fire fisho (Chi-Yu) @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Beads of Ruin
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Psychic
- Nasty Plot

This is my last main damage dealer. It’s got reliable stab in dark pulse and flamethrower, setup in nasty plot and coverage with psychic.

Even WITH the sun boost, leafeon and Charizard will never prove more threatening than just running another Koraidon or Miraidon. The decision of “what does this Pokémon have that would make it more threatening than simply using another Koraidon/Miraidon?” Is a very important question when trying out Pokémon in this meta. While I do definitely like the idea of a sun team with specs flutter and Chien-pao as sun abusers, the team isn’t looking so solid against offensive threats (Iron Bundle, Koraidon, Chien-pao, and Miraidon have very little trouble getting a clean 6-0 on this team, as they all only have 1 or 2 Pokémon that soft-check them.) Overall, I don’t think brute bonnet, Charizard, or leafeon will really serve you well. I also think a great tusk would fit very will in to this team as it can set and remove hazards, abuse sun, and check Koraidon.
I don't think much help can be provided without a tera type
