Regieleki is my designated sweeper. Magnet and Transistor boost my moves' power significantly, while Terrastalization can be used if I ever need some hyper offense. EVs in Speed also mean that Electroball is almost guaranteed to do major damage.

EVs: 88 Atk / 168 SpA / 252 Spe

Tapu Koko is my designated lead thanks to you-know-what. I gave it U-Turn as a pivot, Discharge for a STAB special move, and Thunder Punch for the paralysis chance. Less of a sweeper and more of a damaging lead.

My only designated setup Pokemon. Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse are really only here in case things get serious: the main reason for Rotom Wash is its access to Toxic and its advantageous Typing. If I were using my favorites rather than what's competitive, Luxray would go in this spot.

Zero (Zeraora) @ Razor Claw

In addition to being one of my favorite Pokemon, Zero is INCREDIBLY clutch. Fake Out is great thanks to my team's pivots, Drain Punch for recovery, and Plasma Fists turns Quick Attack into a STAB priority move. Zero has carried my team through sheer luck and force of will in previous matches, including beating a Kingambit with Supreme Overlord by living a Sucker Punch and hitting a crit Drain Punch.

Stallion (Zebstrika) (F) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Motor Drive

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Agility
- Low Kick
- Wild Charge
- Pursuit
Zebstrika is mostly here to be bulky and defeat any Rock-types I run into. Low Kick is a great move against the Steel or Dragon metas, Wild Charge does good damage, Agility increases my chances of going first, and Pursuit is good coverage against pivots.

Boltund is my main pair with Tapu Koko thanks to Rising Voltage. It also has Volt Switch as a pivot, Thunderbolt for power, and Thunder Fang for paralysis.

So, that's my mono-Electric team! They are currently 3-0 and have earned me a ladder rating of 1106. Any feedback or suggestions to improve would be appreciated, as I'm still relatively new to Pokemon. Thank you!

Quick Attack isn't a good move on Zera, it could be replaced by Play Rough, Volt Switch, Throat Chop, or Grass Knot. You could possibly go mixed on it to. Drain Punch could be replaced by Close Combat, and Fake Out could be replaced by one of the options I talked about. On RotoWash, Hydro Pump and Thunderbolt over Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse, and Trick and Nasty Plot could replace Twave and Toxic.

Hello. I will rate your team and improve what needs to be improved. For the most part, you already have good Pokemon in Zeraora, Rotom-Wash, Regieleki, and Tapu Koko. However, the movesets of those Pokemon need changing. Zebstrika and Boltund, while they are cool Pokemon, aren't viable in National Dex Monotype. :( I'll explain later in the rate. So, here is the team rate:


Regieleki


Magnet should be replaced with Choice Specs, as Choice Specs gives you more power than Magnet. Rising Voltage should be used over Electro Ball, as while Regieleki is fast, it won't OHKO certain things like Dragapult, while Rising Voltage in Electric Terrain OHKOs it. Rising Voltage in Electric Terrain is a very powerful move. Ancient Power should be used over Thunder Cage, as Ancient Power chips Landorus-Therian and is useful against Lighting Rod Alolan Marowak. Here is the revised set:

Tapu Koko

Tapu Koko is used as a Choice Specs user on Electric teams due to its ability to deal with Dragon, Fighting, and Dark-types. Tapunium Z isn't used on Tapu Koko. Tapu Koko doesn't use Thunder Punch since it is weaker than Thunderbolt. Using Discharge and U-turn is fine on a defensive pivot set, but that is used on Fairy teams. Here is the Choice Specs set:

Grass Knot targets Pokemon such as Swampert/Mega Swampert, Gastrodon, and Mamoswine, while Hidden Power Ice targets Pokemon such as Gliscor and Landorus-Therian.


Rotom-Wash

Rotom-Wash is used as a physically defensive pivot on Electric Teams. Rotom-Wash doesn't use Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse, and those two moves cover the same things, so having both would be redundant anyways. Hydro Pump and Volt Switch should be used over those two moves. Toxic is fine is you use it over Pain Split or Defog. Will-O-Wisp should be used over Thunder Wave so Rotom-Wash can cripple physical wallbreakers. Rotom-Wash should only use some Speed EVs and not 252 so you can use those EVs in Defense. Leftovers should be used over Rocky Helmet to give Rotom-Wash some HP recovery. Here is the physically defensive pivot set:

Zeraora

I see what you were trying to do with Quick Attack + Plasma Fists, but that's not how Plasma Fists works. Plasma Fists only turns Normal moves to Electric moves for the turn you use Plasma Fists, so using Plasma Fists to make Quick Attack become STAB won't work. Fake Out and Quick Attack aren't good moves on Zeraora in general. The set I'll give you will have Bulk Up and Bounce(will explain in a bit) over those two moves. Drain Punch is fine for healing, but Close Combat is usually preferred since it has more power. Razor Claw isn't a good item, the revised set has Flyinium Z, which works with Bounce in order to allow Zeraora to take out bothersome Grass-types such as Mega Venusuar and Amoonguss. Here is the set:

Zebstrika -> Iron Hands

I replaced Zebstrika with Iron Hands. Like I said earlier, Zebstrika isn't good in National Dex Monotype. You said Zebstrika was supposed to be bulky and take out Rock-types, but Iron Hands is bulkier than Zebstrika and even resists Rock moves. The Iron Hands set I will give you is an Assault Vest set to check special wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Heatran. Here is the set:

Earthquake is nice against opposing Electri-types and Poison-types such as Alolan Muk. Heavy Slam can be used to target Fairy-types. Iron Hands gets an attack boost in Electric Terrain due to Quark Drive. If you want to be more defensive, you can use an EV spread of 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD with 29 Attack IVs to get a defense boost when Electric Terrain is up. The set would look like this:

Boltund -> Zapdos

Boltund also isn't good in National Dex Monotype. With the set you have on Boltund, Regieleki does that way better as an Electric Terrain abuser. I already replaced Zebstrika with an Assault Vest Iron Hands, so Boltund isn't needed. I replaced Boltund with Zapdos so the team has a Ground immunity that doesn't get ignored by Mold Breaker. The set I'll give you is a Defog set, which is useful if you don't use Defog on Rotom-Wash. Here is the set:

Zapdos @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch / Discharge
- Heat Wave / Toxic
- Defog
- Roost

Volt Switch allows you to pivot, while Discharge spreads paralysis. Heat Wave targets Steel-types such as Scizor and Ferrothorn. Toxic is useful to spread poison if you don't have that on Rotom-Wash. Defog is nice to clear away hazards for your team. The EV spread allows Zapdos to outspeed Gyarados without Dragon Dance boosts.


The team revisions can be found here. Also, you cant use Tera in NatDex Monotype, as it is banned. Hope this helps! :)

"unfortunately"-False Swipe Gaming-there are a couple problems with the team.
am speed is good, but i think a life orb would be better than that for a little bit more power. or you could give it a choice scarf/quick claw (joke). also, the moveset needs ancient power and tera blast for some sort of coverage for ground. tera water would be best.

VGC Nightmare has a good set. I like U-Turn for pivoting and Discharge for STAB, and nature's madness for hurting resists. it pairs well with rotom.

Rotom is mostly good, except that T-Wave isn't needed if you run thunderbolt instead (which you should). other than that, good set and tera type.

I have nothing against zero, good job (happy mareep noises)

Thank you for the advice! The comments about Am Speed and Zebstrika make a lot of sense. I think I'll keep Boltund as my pivot or swap it for a Luxray- don't want to be too heavy on the Legendary spam. Dracozolt, though... I'll keep that in mind!
