How can I improve this team (preferably just changin' movesets)?
Weavile @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pickpocket
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
+Spe -SpA
- Ice Spinner
- Night Slash
- Taunt
- Low Kick
Fast attacker (still outsped by some). Low Kick for dealin' with Tyranitar. Taunt was actually reluctantly added to this glass cannon 'cause no other member learns it. I need Taunt to shut down Scream Tail's Wish. No Punishment nor Knock Off in this gen lamentably. Due to Focus Sash, this Pokemon is afraid of Stealth Rock or Spikes.
Arcanine @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 160 SpD
+Def -Spe
- Roar
- Wild Charge
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed
I give it some bulk. With Flash Fire, I can switch it in when I predict the opponent's Fire attack. Roar is to expel Pokemon which set up and Polteageist after using Shell Smash and after using White herb. Sitrus Berry to heal from recoil.
Gastrodon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Storm Drain
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 176 HP / 168 Def / 164 SpD
+Def -Spe
- Recover
- Surf
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
Not sure if I should use Yawn or Recover. With Ice Beam, I might be able to hurt a switched in Tsareena or Wo Chien or Salamence. Rocky Helmet kills Masuhold and it has good bulk.
Espeon @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 68 HP / 60 Def / 176 SpA / 204 Spe
+Spe -Atk
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Grass Knot
- Thunder Wave
- Shadow Ball
I usually lead Forretress and if foe is known to be an entry hazard, I'll switch in Magic Bounce Espeon. Grass Knot is for dealin' with Gastrodon and Tyranitar which is heavy. However, I give Espeon Grass coverage because Weavile's moveset can't afford to contain a Trailblaze. Thunder Wave slowers and annoys opponent. Shadow Ball for taking Ghost down.
Dudunsparce @ Throat Spray
Ability: Rattled
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 84 HP / 172 SpA / 252 Spe
+Spe -Atk
IVs: 0 Atk
- Boomburst
- Agility
- Earth Power
- Shadow Ball
Agility is the key for this Boomburst sweeper. It is nice if I can use Boomburst first 'cause Throat Spray will be consumed, buffin' its SpA. Earth Power, Shadow Ball for crackin' Rock, Steel, Ghost.
Forretress @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 3 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 1 Spe
+SpD -SpA
- Stealth Rock
- Volt Switch
- Body Press
- Rapid Spin
Pretty standard. The reason I give it one Speed is that if opponent uses Forretress as leader like me. I am usually able to outspeed it and use Volt Switch to break its Sturdy. Body Press is so cool as it doesn't require attack stat and people may use Tyranitar as leader. It damages attacker by a little with Rocky Helmet if attack has contact.
