As the name suggests, this is a Gen 9 NFE team built around Frogadier and Floragato.
Naclstack (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Purifying Salt
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 8 HP / 252 Atk / 248 Def
Adamant Nature
- Body Press
- Salt Cure
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
Nacklstack is a major offensive threat while also being a defensive wall. The Eviolite just helps my excellent defensive power even more. (Does it boost Body Press?)
Arctibax (M) @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Thermal Exchange
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Brick Break
- Dragon Claw
- Swords Dance
My main offensive sweeper, Arctibax takes advantage of the Loaded Dice, one of my favorite items in the game. This gives it access to a 100% accurate, 100-125 BP move in Icicle Spear, which can be boosted further with Swords Dance. Dragon Claw and Brick Break are here for utility.
Frogadier (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Protean
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Chilling Water
- Ice Beam
- U-turn
- Trailblaze
One of the two Protean pivot sweepers. Frogadier is built around a lightning bruiser mindset, with Ice Beam and Chilling Water for offensive utility, U-Turn for pivots, and Trailblaze in case of a speed boost. I'm considering swapping Trailblaze, so I'd like to know what you would replace it with.
Fletchinder (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Defog
- Flame Charge
- Roost
Fletchinder is my dedicated defogger. Flare Blitz is there for damage, but she's mainly on the team for Defog and Flame Charge utility. Should I swap the Eviolite for Heavy-Duty Boots in case of Stealth Rocks?
Floragato (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Protean
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Trailblaze
- U-turn
- Shadow Claw
The other Protean sweeper. Same case as Frogadier, but with physical attacks instead of special ones.
Pikachu (M) @ Light Ball
Ability: Lightning Rod
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Volt Switch
- Fake Out
- Quick Attack
- Volt Tackle
Finally, Pikachu, who is here to abuse the **** out of Light Ball-boosted Volt Tackles.
That's my Gen 9 NFE team! What changes would you make? Feel free to let me know!
