Pokémon Rate My Team

Hi there! I've been having a lot of fun experimenting on the Showdown ladder with this Ursaluna and Kommo-o team! I love both these Pokémon and I wanted to make them a formidable threat to deal with.

The first strategy:
Lead with Ursaluna & Oranguru/Stakataka, set up trick room, Tera Ghost on Ursaluna and fling, activate Lansat Berry and Weakness Policy, spam Hyper Voice and Blood Moon so everything just dies.
The second strategy:
Lead Clefairy and Kommo-o, spam Follow Me while Kommo-o gets a substitute and Belly Drum off, spam Drain Punch to regain health or Iron Head for coverage.

Freddy Five Night (Ursaluna-Bloodmoon) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Mind's Eye
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Protect
- Blood Moon
- Earth Power
The main special-sweeper of this team, Ursaluna has absolutely amazing coverage, being able to use ground-type attacks to hit the Pokémon that resist Normal-type attacks. Weakness Policy and Tera Ghost is essential for this team's gimmick, and Tera Ghost is actually very useful in that fact that it turns Ursaluna's weakness to Fighting into an immunity (unless going again Scrappy Pokémon like Mega Lopunny).

Monke (Oranguru) @ Lansat Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Fling
- Trick Room
- Instruct
- Magic Coat
Yeah, this move set looks trash, but trust me, it's important for Ursaluna to work. Magic Coat in case anything wants to taunt it, in which the opponent gets taunted and I can set Trick Room up. Fling to use on Ursaluna, Instruct to abuse Blood Moon (letting Ursaluna use it consecutively). Tera Fairy is for desperate measures when Oranguru is extremely threatened to bring K'Oed.

Cat…? (Clefairy) @ Eviolite
Ability: Friend Guard
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Follow Me
- Ally Switch
- Life Dew
- After You
This Clefairy moveset is actually very easy to use, all you do is spam Follow Me. For trick room, press After You to go first, Ally Switch to mess up the opponent, and Life Dew for recovery. I barely ever Tera this so it didn't matter, but if I'm going to, I use Tera Grass for Spore or Sleep Powder.

Rattlesnake Jake (Kommo-o) @ Salac Berry
Ability: Bulletproof
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Belly Drum
- Iron Head
- Drain Punch
Again, I explained this move set in the strat. Kommo-o is specifically trained to activate Salac Berry when it has both Substituted and used Belly Drum, Drain Punch for STAB/recovery, and Iron Head for coverage. Tera Steel to turn that horrible Fairy weakness into a resistance.

Tower Defense (Stakataka) @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Heat Crash/Body Press
- Protect
- Trick Room
Stakataka is my second Trick Room setter, and my second Trick Room sweeper. Ursaluna has a hard time with specially defensive Pokémon, but Stakataka with STAB Gyro Ball tears through them. Resists? As if.

El Macho (Incineroar) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Parting Shot
- Fake Out
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
I was using Sneasler with Fake Out & Normal Gem, but I needed support. And what better support to use than THE support Pokémon?
Parting Shot to pivot, Fake Out to control the game, Knock Off for annoying items, and Will-O-Wisp to counter physical attackers due to it being more on the specially defensive side. Tera Ghost to get rid of fighting weakness.

Some questions I have:
- What Tera-Types should I be using?
- What ability is best for Kommo-o?
- Any idea what my weaknesses are? And how do I counter them?
- ….do you guys like my names? (this is a joke)

Anyway, thanks for actually reading through this. Please tell me if there's anything I need work on!
