Ok so I just got champions here is my duel mega team:
(keep in mind that in champions, EVs have been replaced by the slightly different “stat points” that I will refer to as SPs)
Scizor@scizornite
Ability: technician
Nature: adamant
SPs: 32 atk 17 def 17 spd
-bug bite
-close combat
-bullet punch
-swords dance
Use this as your mega if the team is hyper offensive and more frail than any other team. Ok so after swapping in, you mega, and use swords dance as many times as possible until you STAB technician max attack bullet punch sweep. If bullet punch isnt an option you have CC for coverage and to catch people off-guard and bug Bite for more STAB technician power. Overall an amazing sweeper
Gengar@focus sash
Ability: cursed body
Nature: timid
SPs: 32 spe 32 spa 2 HP
-shadow ball
-sludge wave
-thunderbolt
-giga drain
Nice revenge killer here, focus sash to live if you don’t go first or dont OHKO, shadow ball and sludge wave are great STAB and Tbolt and Gdrain are coverage. Cursed body seems to come in clutch a lot in battles when gengar gos down.
Rotom-H@lum berry
Ability: levitate
Nature: timid
SPs: 32 HP 2 spa 32 spe
-overheat
-will-o-wisp
-pain split
-volt switch
Overall a reliable pivot with moves like volt switch. Overheat is STAB and will-o-wisp is for the crucial burns on phisical attackers. Pain split is because rotom lacks reliable recovery and volt switch is for pivoting- the main reason for rotom existing is to burn and pivot
Palafin@choice scarf
Ability: zero to hero
Nature: adamant
SPs: 32 HP 32 atk 2 spe
-wave crash
-flip turn
-close combat
-jet punch
Ok so this is an amazing pivot lead and sweeper. Turn 1 you flip turn out of there and save it for late-game sweeps with wave crash for damage, CC for coverage and jet punch for priority.
Aggron@aggronite
Ability: sturdy -> filter
Nature: careful
SPs: 18 HP 16 atk 12 def 20 spd
-iron defence
-heavy slam
-earthquake
-body press
Ok so mega Aggron is the mega you use for physically defensive teams that m-scizor cant beat. This this is a TANK. With 230 defence and some huge attack aswell, iron defense makes this thing basically immune to physical attacks and then body press uses your defence instead of your attack for damage, and heavy slam is STAB damage that uses Aggrons massive weight to attack. Equake is coverage
Dragonite@leftovers
Ability: multiscale
Nature: adamant
SPs: 32 HP 27 atk 7 spe
-fly
-extreme speed
-dragon claw
-protect
This is a scout for dangerous Pokémon that you can’t really guess their moveset. Swap into dragonite and use protect and fly to see waht moves they pick. Espeed is priority and dragon claw is in case things get nasty. Leftys go well with max HP to full-heal and get multiscale back up
Ok so that is my team! Hope you guys liked it, sorry it had no frogs lol
NOTE: can someone with 50 points on RMT who can edit things please add a tag called pokemon-champions? That would really help and I’m sure the tag would be used often thanks
