Hello, I'm quite new to competitive pokemon. I've played lots of pokemon, but i mainly was a shiny hunter. I didn't play competitive pokemon since I'd need to get the next game to play again, plus having Nintendo online. However with champions being the front of competitive pokemon, and being on mobile now, I've played a lot recently. I've been messing around with making a rain team, and ive managed to push to master ball with it. I'd love feed back on it, or if I'm missing something, since I am a very new player. Only been playing for a week or so. Here's my team:

Swampert
Item: Swampertite
Ability: Damp ~ (Swift Swim)
Nature: Adamant (Atk↑ || Sp.A↓)
EV's: 2HP || 32Attack || 32Speed
Moves: Wave Crash || High Horsepower
Moves: Ice Punch || Protect
Explanation: So mega swamperts got high damage, immunity to electric type attacks, and It's got Swift Swim to speed up. It's like having a tail wind whenever weather's up. Ability Damp just to counter the odd mega Galalie that might try explosion. Choosing Adamant nature for extra damage, along side 32Attack EVs. Although we have Swift Swim, still need more speed, so 32Speed EVs. Wave Crash for rain boosted stab, great for incineroar, charizard, and even against pokemon who aren't weak to water. High Horsepower for stab boosted ground move, can one hit sneasler, low HP EV Archaludon, Mega Metagross, ect. Ice punch for quad weak mons like Garchomp and dragonite, but also useful on Sinistcha and whimsicott. Usually start with this mon, but also can bring it in the back to sweep

Sableye
Item: Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Nature: Calm (Sp.D↑ || Atk↓)
EV's: 32HP || 9Defence || 25Sp.Defence
Moves: Rain Dance || Quash
Moves: Light Screen || Reflect
Explanation: This is CybertronVGC's Sableye. I ran Cybertron's Archaludon team on showdown and fell in love, and i think it still fits well here. I did change the item to Light Clay to extend the effects of screens, as i find them lasting 8 turns generally lasts the whole battle. Prankster rain dance i find fantastic since if you go against another weather team, if they mega evolve froslass / charizard, or switch in torkoal / tyranitar, or even Prankster there own sun with Whimsicott. Our rain will go over there weather condition that same turn since we're a slower Prankster setting it. Screens are self explanatory, makes surviving the impossible, possible. And I did mess around with Encore, but with the amount of dark types, and abilities like Farigiraf, and Whimsicott being a faster encorer. I reverted back to quash to make faster attackers, or attackers in trick room to go last

Pelipper
Item: Focus Sash
Ability: Drizzle
Nature: Modest (Sp.A↑ || Atk↓)
EV's: 2HP || 32Sp.Attack || 32Speed
Moves: Tailwind || Weather Ball
Moves: Hurricane || Wide Guard
Explanation: Pretty basic Pelipper build. Focus Sash so we always are able to do something, such as tailwind freely. Having high Sp.Attack makes us a support pokemon who can hit hard. If we're vs'ing a tailwinder we need tailwind too, to make sure our Swift swimmers stay fastest. Weather ball for heavy water damage, however you can use like charizards sun to hit venusaur or whimsicott for fire damage, stuff like that. Hurricane's 100% accurate in rain, and with high Sp.Attack it slaps sneasler and especially mega staraptor who usually increases defence and attack with Whimsicott. So long as we out speed to avoid the close combat buffs, Hurricane claps them. Than wide guard for rock slides, eruption, dazzling gleams, ect

Archaludon
Item: Left Overs
Ability: Stamina
Nature: Modest (Sp.A↑ || Atk↓)
EV's: 32HP || 1Defence || 5Sp.Attack || 25Sp.Defence || 3Speed
Moves: Electro Shot || Flash Canon
Moves: Dragon Pulse || Protect
Explanation: This is CybertronVGC's Archaludon, it's the only other mon I copied 1 to 1 to this team. Pretty much survives a hit from everything, except helping hand boosted stuff. Still hits like a truck even with its low Sp.Attack EVs. Electro Shot does massive damage, whilst giving Sp.A boost. The boosts makes other things one shot. Just be weary of lightning rod raichu. Stab boosted Dragon and steel move. No Draco Meteor since we dont wanna switch out to loose our defence boosts when we go -2Sp.A. Stamina builds up quickly, and if they're physical attackers i.e garchomp, Basculegion, ect, they'll start doing nothing. Also is easy to switch into when you know they're gonna fake out or macha-gacha for free defence boosts

Basculegion (M)
Item: Mystic Water
Ability: Swift Swim
Nature: Adamant (Atk↑ || Sp.A↓)
EV's: 1HP || 1Defence || 32Attack || 32Speed
Moves: Wave Crash || Last Respects
Moves: Psychic Fangs || Protect
Explanation: Basculegion is just such a powerful pokemon. Love him in the back to just sweep / close out games. He only gets stronger as your allies die. Wave Crash for big stab rain damage, its actually enough to 1hit Mega Swampert, among others like incineroar and charizard. Last respects is obviously a must, very important against other Basculegions, Sinistcha, or Mega Gengar. Psychic Fangs isn't common, but it 1hits sneasler, and with grimsnarl, sableye, whimsicott and alolan ninetales setting up screens. Destroying them actually feels important. I'm not entirely sold on Mystic Water. It obviously helps, but without flip turn or Aqua jet, It's not as beneficial. I don't like choice scarf since it locks moves

Talonflame
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
Nature: Adamant (Atk↑ || Sp.A↓)
EV's: 2HP || 32Attack || 32Speed
Moves: Dual Wingbeat || Brave Bird
Moves: Flare Blitz || Tailwind
Explanation: I specifically chose and built this pokemon for specific things. I don't know if Talonflame is common in rain teams. Especially with a Life Orb. But gale wings gives it priority which is very important. This allows me to counter firstly sleep powder, focus sash, Chlorophyll venusaur with charizard. Dual wing beat gets priority and hits twice to 1hit venusaur, ignoring its Sash, even with sun up. This also means it can 1hit whimsicott with Sash too. Infact thats why its speed is so high, that if whimsicott doesn't have a speed Nature we go before they do. The speed also helps since we hurt ourselves loosing our +1Priority. This was also built to counter Mega Staraptor since we can priority brave bird to 1hit, as long as it doesn't get tickled. But you can counter that by dual wing beating the whimsicott, and finishing staraptor with pelipper. This is anothet pokemon to get up tailwind with +1priority to make sure we hold speed control. Brave bird can also 1hit Sinistcha, since its common and scares swampert. I've got flare blitz mainly to have a fire move for scizor, but im not entirely sold on having this move here, especially when our rain just weakens it. But even weakened, it should 1hit scizor

So that's my team. I'd love to hear feed back and ways to improve it. I've tried Sinistcha, aerodactl, Mega Slowpoke, Mega Raichu Y, Kimgambit, Maushold, Mega Glimmora, and Mega Eelektoss. Some were better than others, but i just found myself not really picking them. So I substitute for other mons that I'd actually choose more often. Man I wish some mons could have 5moves, cause I'd love to have some other moves, but I still prefer what I have. I want to improve as a player and my team in general too, for the upcoming online tournament. Any and all help is much appreciated ~♡

This is a very well built rain team, with some unique picks that do make sense on the team. I got 2 changes that could make this team work better, but they aren't needed.
1: Choice Scarf Basculegion with Adaptability could be a better idea here, as Mega Swampert already covers speed, and the Power Adaptability gives might be the better choice to let you break through other pokemon.

2: Replacing Flare Blitz on Talonflame for Taunt or Will-o-Wisp can give it some extra utility if needed.

Again this changes don't need to be made, as your team is already well built, hope you do well on the ladder!
