Ah, that's why you signed up lol. Some people including Ineros encouraged people in the NDM room to sign up for the NDMono slot, which is why I did lol. Not sure if I'll end up getting picked, but I am willing to learn, improve, and listen to others since it is a team tour. I did make it to the 1600s on the NatDex Monotype ladder, and I've been performing decently in the roomtours in NDM room, so who knows...

Oh yeah, I also signed up for the NDFL, specifically for the NatDex Monotype (and NDUU) slot(s).

Does Zard Y really outclass X directly though? I guess you could say taking up the mega slot, since Gouging Fire probably outclasses X more

Thanks for the explanation. I remember playing Nat Dex OU in Gen 8 and Zard Y was good regardless, but this gen mons make it tougher for it huh? As for your ladder peak what kind of team have you been running? From your description it seems rain and fatter teams are more oppressive.

Ah, I see. So you haven't touched Gen 9 NU (and I assume other SV formats that aren't SV OU and the NatDex formats?) Funnily enough, Gen 9 NU at one point gave off Gen 8 NU vibes lol. And yeah, Electric teams in NDMono basically mandates that you have a Ground-type or a super fat Dragon or Grass-type if you can afford one (Looks at Bug). There needs to be a good Bug/Ground type in the future... Like, one that is actually good and ones that aren't Nincada and Wormadam-Sandy (not sure if that's the correct form name but who gives a Wormadam)

Ah, I see. I've been getting back into NDMono recently (and NDUU from time to time), and Electric is fun (and broken) against the right matchups. I've also been liking Bug recently because of this Sub Bulk Up Buzzwole set, which I'll post at some point on the Buzzwole moveset thread.

Also, have you played Gen 9 NU before? Asking out of curiousity(and becuase I play that tier lmao).
