For moveset questions, when is it OK to post a Smogon set?

Hi Fizz. Why is everyone on this site thinking they're not good players and can't beat smogon players? I don't mean to say we should say smogon players= noobs so we obviously better but we should atleast have confidence that we're good too. I don't like it. What are your thoughts on it?
