The fact that you won't back down from your viewpoint is, itself, problematic. How will i know that you won't mistreat myself, Ty, X or any other trans person? How will i know you respect our decisions or requests? How do i know you're not just going to say something else dumb and hurtful in the future?

I highly suggest you (sorry for the overused phrase) educated yourself on the topic and maybe even speak to a few trans people about their experiences.

Trans people more and more are being dehumanised and discrimnated against. We just trying to live out lives out here.
