I looked at the pictures. I don't think it amounts to much more than just the usual chat room antics. I don't think anybody was trying to disrupt conversation, so I'm going to leave it at that.
Also, what they were doing isn't anything special. The blank posts contain whitespace characters, which you can learn about here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitespace_character
