Every hundred years, a person with powers far beyond the ordinary is born. As these people grow, so does their strength. However, their power comes at a price. Every one of them carries what I shall refer to as "true evil" in their hearts, and as they age, it slowly seeps into them before suddenly coming all out and taking control of them, despite how kind or innocent they may have been. When they become truly evil, their power increases so much that they become practically invincible, capable of destroying countries on a whim, and they are granted extremely long life. All at the cost of who they used to be, and whether their old self likes it or not. Family and friends mean nothing to them. Human life means nothing to them. All that matters to them is reaching the top and having power over the entire world, regardless of how dreary that sounds. These extremely powerful people are known as Legends, since they certainly sound like something out of a legend. Normal people are terrified of Legends, mostly for all the destruction they can and have caused, and because killing one would be nothing short of a miracle. People can't even just wait for a Legend to die, because they can live hundreds of years. The only thing that can really kill a Legend is another Legend, but since Legends only reach their pinnacle of power after becoming truly evil, one will just replace the other, and it's rarely a good thing. You can imagine how difficult living can be under those circumstances.

But a man wanted to change all that. After his pregnant wife was killed in an attack by a Legend, he devoted himself to magic. Eventually, he figured out how to create beings with incredible powers. However, he would have to give his own life in exchange. This he did, creating two angel-like beings, a boy and a girl, modeled after his child who never entered the world. Combined, their power was almost enough to match a Legend's. However, they were peaceful, preferring to avoid fighting, and instead used their power for a different purpose: sealing the Legends away. They also had the ability to travel through time, but only once. So before he died, the man told them to travel back to when the first Legend was born and seal him away. They would serve as guardians for the humans, protecting them from the Legends' reign and destruction. This they did, dramatically changing history in the process, as their father had hoped. They never aged, so they were still alive when the twenty-first Legend was born. And this was when they decided on a change of plans. While they could seal Legends, they could only seal a total of twenty before their seals were weakened to the point where they could only seal a new one by unsealing another. And seeing as how the previous twenty Legends were older, and therefore closer to becoming truly evil, sealing the new guy wasn't the best idea. So they decided to turn to him for help in defeating his own kind. Of course, all the news of time-traveling angel people and being a Legend threw him for a loop, but he eventually agreed. The beings, however, weren't too fond of their plan. As I stated earlier, they're peaceful. They don't want to fight the Legends, and especially not have another of their kind kill them. What they really want is to remove the true evil from the Legends so they can live somewhat normal lives. But they're not sure how to do this, or if it's even possible. And if they can't seal the Legends, or even negotiate with them when they're truly evil without the constant risk of their Legend being backstabbed and killed, then getting rid of the Legends before they start killing people is the only choice.

I’m not quite sure if she HAS read it or not but if not I’m sure she’ll talk to you and like you said you’ll have all summer so just relax and enjoy the last week of school, i’m assuming you don’t have any actual assignments or anything at this point XD.

Yes i do miss her, as we all know she basically keeps chat alive no matter what she talks about. I obviously don't know her that well but it's still sad to see that she hasn't been on for some time. I would tell her this but I am literally too nervous to do so. And no I'm not simping for her, I barely know her anyway.

Hope you overcome your feelings for Giru tho, and yes I'm serious about that. I hope you can keep yourself together until she comes back. We all want her back anyway.

Also I would like to help you deal with this. I am not a therapist but I don't want you or anyone on the DB to be upset.
