I will spoil S/V for you. All the shinies are puke green, Ash shows up in the final lab id you complete all the side quests, and the girl that you WILL crush on named Nickel will kill all your party members in the post game. Pokemon are rare and you will be using guns for most of the game. There are boss fights with giant Lobsters, Rhinos, Dinosaurs, Chickens, and Snakes. The games are very graphic and have realistic effects such as bone breaking and blood loss, and there are many not kid appropriate references, such as smoking and drug use among others. Oh yeah, it's also pay-to-win.
