I am now going to blather on about my deck.
The star card of my deck is the extremely powerful Motion-Wave Cannon. At least, it's powerful when given time. It's a Continuous Spell Card, meaning it remains on the field after being played. I can discard it during my Main Phase (there are multiple phases of a turn in case you were wondering) to deal 1000 damage to my opponent for every one of my Standby Phases that passed since I played it. So if I wait three turns, I can discard it to deal 3000 damage. And note that this is direct damage to your opponent's life points, and if they run outta life points, I win. That means you don't have to fight them with powerful monsters to win.
Of course, I do have monsters in my deck, because they're very useful. And one of them is the ever-helpful Marshmallon. It's a weak monster with only 300/500 stats, but it can't be destroyed by attacks. This means that enemy monsters can't just destroy it by attacking, no matter how high their ATK may be. Of course, there are plenty of card effects that could destroy it, but it's nice to have a monster like that guarding your life points. Oh, and if it's attacked while face-down (which is automatic when it's put in Defense mode), the attacking player loses 1000 life points. So that's a bonus. I can also use the Continuous Spell Card Marshmallon Glasses, which means my opponents can only target Marshmallon for attacks.
Then there's the Golden Ladybug, which has 0/0 for stats. I know what you're thinking: why on earth would you battle with a monster that has no stats? Simple. I don't battle with it. Instead, I keep it in my hand. Why? Because it has a very useful effect. During my Standby Phase, I can reveal it to my opponent. However, it stays in my hand. And when I do, I gain 500 life points. What's even better is that I can activate the effect once for every Golden Ladybug in my hand. So if I have three in my hand, I gain 1500 life points. And they stay in your hand after you use their effect, so you can use it every single turn if you'd like. This can be used to recover or build up my life points, making me even harder to take down.
I have plenty of other cards in my deck (including some other monsters), but for the sake of me being lazy, I'll only mention a few more that I'm fond of.
- Dark Bribe. If my opponent activates a Spell or Trap while it's on the field, it negates the activation and destroys the Spell/Trap. While my opponent draws one card when it's used, it's a small price to pay when Yugo tries to take out your cards with Shock Surprise or something of the like. Kinda cute guy, annoying card. Anyway, that's off-topic. Moving on.
- Swoooords of Revealing Light! Yes, I said that dramatically. Sounded better when Yami did it. The effect is quite simple: when activated, it stops your opponent from attacking for three turns. That's nice if you don't have all the cards you need and would like to stall a few turns, especially if your Motion-Wave Cannon is on the field too.
- The Dark Door. This is even more simple: only one monster can attack during each Battle Phase. Again, if you don't have the cards you need, such as Marshmallon, you can use this to, say, stop your opponent from blasting the heck out of you with a swarm of 2000+ ATK monsters.
- A Feather of the Phoenix. You discard one card to target one card in your Graveyard (which is the discard pile if I never mentioned it before) and put it on the top of your deck. While there are cards that can instantly get cards back from your Graveyard, those usually exclusively target monsters or Spells/Traps, while the Phoenix Feather (hey I tried to shorten the name) can bring back both. While you have to wait a turn to draw the card you picked again, it's still quite useful.
Of course, there are some obvious problems with the deck. Other than the fact that it was made by a total noob at 10 PM.
- Anything that can destroy Spells/Traps is a major pain, especially if it's more than one at a time. While you can use A Feather of the Phoenix to get a couple of them back from the Graveyard, it's still a real pain. Even worse, you have to 'restart' your Cannon whether you get it back or draw a new one.
- Defense-piercing monsters. Oh lord those are a pain. They can deal damage to your life points even if you're in Defense mode, which usually stops them from damaging your life points if they destroy your monster. So while Marshmallon still can't be destroyed by them, I still take damage. That's where Mirror Force (a card I didn't mention) comes in handy, though.
So yeah. It can't deal much damage with its monsters, but with that Cannon? Totally different story.
Now, I am in no way saying that this deck is good. I just like using it. So pro tip: don't use any deck that I came up with. With that advice, you'd be a great duelist in no time. XD

The kids in Yu-Gi-Oh are so huggable I swear (except Pegasus). Even Noah, at least when he stops looking evil. I mean, these people can make MARIK look cute as a kid, and he's like the poster child for creepy weirdos. It's incredible. Why do I bring this up? Because I'm re-watching season three and I thought to myself "aww Noah is cute when his eyes aren't narrow"
That's it. I'm moving to Domino City or wherever and becoming a babysitter.
