I doubt that GameFreak would strand the Watchog and Pan lines to XY, so yeah DLC is likely for them. I’m thinking it  might be related to XY, due to Xerneas/Yveltal/Zygarde not being in SV yet.

I did a chain on Route 216 and got 2 Snorunt (wanted 3 but I broke my chain, doesn't matter since I have a full odds Snorunt in Shield), and honestly, it really wasn't bad.

I tried on Route 217, however...
I can't even see the patches.

I haven't tried it, but route 216 doesn't even look that bad, actually, at least, compared to Route 217

Snow hunts seem brutal. I might attempt a hunt with the lighter snow, though.
