Snorlax is weaker in other generations, partly because Snorlax can know lovely kiss only in gen 2. Gen 1 doesn't have curse or sleep talk. Later generations have stronger steel Pokemon, fighting moves, and entry hazards. Snorlax can't have max EVs in HP and both defenses and can't use rest when it's already asleep.

It's because "sumwun" is a proper noun, and capitalizing the first letter of proper nouns is incorrect.
