Ngl I refrain from doing that without asking (especially with staff like Zayele). I'm on good terms with almost every staff so they do accept a battle with me if they're free. It's not like they're very "busy", they are busy, yes, esp right now when another person became a lancer (remember Flynn Watson?). I'd just ask for battles in the chat that works tbh

Thanks! And yeah ladder for any AG gen is pretty bad with BP, Viv, Smeargle and stall around lol, you'll have to cope with it. In one of my earlier runs, I got out the timezones of the people who laddered with me and I chose either my days or nights when they were asleep (lol!), so after 1800 I never got any trash user. But in my more recent runs where I didn't use tz's, I tried to play out if I'm matched up with any bs and if it worked, hownice, if it doesn't forfeit. Saves time. Also Goggles Ho-Oh is pretty nice for ladder.
Yeah most good people participate in the high-end tours. Those do take time, you can get in if you're ever free though, nice exposure.
