"Argh! I'll show you little brats!" Ghetsis yelled, still tied up in the clearing. Ash had left, so there was no one to untie him. "I'll show you all! Aaaaahhhh!" he screeched in rage.

It seems as though there are many unanswered questions. Who was that mysterious girl with the Marshadow? What are the mysteries surrounding Lily the talking Umbreon? Why was Kylani turned into a Glaceon? What will happen to Growlithe? Who is the Metagross user, Meta-Man, and why did he help N and the others? Why did Gladion suddenly become so outraged? And... how long is Ghetsis going to be tied up? The answers to come as the group's adventure continues!

"Whoo! First time doing that spell!" Hex said happily. "I'm so glad I didn't need to practice!" "Wait, you've never done that spell before?!" "Whoa, calm down, M." "Uh... it's N, not M." "Same thing." Hex said, shrugging. Pika burst into laughter again. "Well, whatever... Kylani, I'm glad you're back to normal." N said. Kylani slowly stood up. "I'm glad to be back! Sheesh, I couldn't even remember any of you as a Glaceon!" "Shiny Glaceon." Pika corrected her. "Pika. Please." N muttered. Pika snorted. "I'm also glad that you're not poisoned anymore, N." Kylani said, smiling. Suddenly, Pika's eyes went wide. "Oh no, I forgot about Gladion!" she cried. Kylani snickered at how familiar the situation was. "Gotta go! Bye! Glad you're back to normal!" Pika yelled as she ran off. "Wait! I wanna see Gladiator too!" Hex called, running after her. "Oh, just wow." Kylani laughed. "Those two could totally be best friends." N sighed heavily. "Fine with me if they bother me less..."

Pika and Hex ran to the mansion, then stopped when they saw Lillie dashing towards them. "Lillie?" "Pika!" "Who now?" Lillie stopped, panting, looking excited and happy. "What's up?" "It's Gladion! His fever's gone!" "What?! No way!" Pika cried happily. "Oh yeah, you said Gladiator had a fever, didn't you, Pika?" Hex asked. "Uh... who are you?" Lillie asked. "Oh, this is Hex. She's a friend, so don't worry about her burning down your room or something." Pika joked. "I might if I start practicing my Fire spell!" Hex laughed. "F-Fire spell...?" "Don't worry, Lillie." "Um... okay." "So, when do I get to meet Gladiator?" "Uh... it's Gladion, not Gladiator." Lillie said. "Oh well. Same thing." Hex said, snickering. "...It's not the same... thing..." said a voice. They turned around to see Gladion slowly walking towards them, looking weak and a bit hunched over. "Gladion!" Pika cried, running up to him. "Are you okay?" Gladion stumbled and Pika tightly gripped his arm. "Whoa, you never told me that Gladiator was the Hunchback of Notre Dame!" Hex exclaimed. For a second, there was dead silence. "W-What's Notre Dame...?" Lillie asked. "...And what the heck is a Hunchback and why is it of Notre Dame...?!" Gladion asked, clearly insulted. Pika and Hex started laughing. "I'm glad to see your spirit's back!" "Gladiator, why can't you walk right?" Hex asked. Lillie flinched. "...I'm not Gladiator...! And I feel weak as heck, excuse you..." "Dude, he was sitting in a mansion, on the floor, with a burning fever. Cut him some slack." Pika muttered. "All he needs is some exercise and he'll be good as new, I'm sure." Lillie said. "...Yay..." Gladion said with no excitement. Pika stared at him worriedly. "Gladion, when you were sick, you acted different... what happened? I know when someone's not sick anymore they're often right back to normal, but..." "...Sorry... I'm just not in a good mood..." "Like always!" Pika exclaimed. Suddenly, Gladion gave her a nasty glare. "...If you're not a fan of my attitude... why don't you just leave me alone?!" he yelled at Pika. The three of them flinched. Pika started tearing up. Gladion was trying to regain his balance, and Lillie asked "Gladion... w-what's wrong... with you...?" "...Nothing! I just... want to be left alone...!" he said. "...Why is that so much to ask...?!" "Uh... well, bye!" Hex yelled, and dashed away. Lillie stared after them sadly.
