The ship slowly drifted along, being pushed left and right by strong wind. Kylani looked to see land coming into view. "Unova ahoy, huh?" she asked. Ghetsis nodded. "Right. We'll sail near Nuvema Town. My lab's nearby it." "Your lab..." Kylani muttered. "Lab... that's it." "Huh?" Ghetsis asked. "Nothing." Kylani replied as she watched the land slowly come closer. At one point, she dozed off on the floor of the ship. When they reached land, Ghetsis yelled "Get up!" and she snapped awake. "W-Wha...?" she muttered groggily, then remembered what was happening. She slowly got to her feet. "There's no reason to be napping. We have a job to do." "Right. Got it." Kylani replied, staring at the land. They were near Nuvema Town, but out of sight from people. They both got off the ship. "Follow me. It's this way." Ghetsis said, and the two of them headed off.

"Pika, wake up!" N yelled, shoving Pika, who had been snoring loudly in the next seat. "W-Wah! Look out, they're gonna-" she cried, then cut herself off as she jolted awake. N, Hex, and Drifty stared at her wide-eyed. "...Uh..." she muttered, looking around. "Oh, uh... sorry. I was having a nightmare." "Pika, you have drool on your face." "Huh?" Pika wiped her mouth with her sleeve. "What was the nightmare about?" Hex asked. "Hmm... well... I was standing next to some kid... then something or someone tried to attack us, and I freaked out..." "Eee, I can tell..." Drifty sighed. "Some kid? Who was it? What did they look like? Was it someone you know?" "Hex, why are you interrogating Pika?" "Because I can, Mr. Maternal Harmonica Groupchat." Hex replied. N started twitching. "What... was that...?!" Luckily, Pika replied to Hex before N could continue. "Hmm... I don't really know... it was a boy... with brown hair and brown eyes, and wearing glasses... he seemed... oddly familiar... like I've seen him before, but I can't remember where..." "Weird." "I know, right?" Then Drifty looked out the window. "Eee! Land ahoy!" "Huh?" the group asked. Then they looked out the windows as well and saw land coming into view. "Next stop, Castelia City! I think!" Hex exclaimed. "Wow... from where we are, Alola isn't even visible..." Pika muttered. "Of course, dummy, Alola's a different region, not the next town, you know." "Wow, really? Wow! We never would've guessed! Wow, thanks, Mr. Harmonica! Wow!" Hex replied sarcastically. Pika and Drifty practically fell over laughing. N's face was going red with anger and he looked like he was about to scream. So Hex, Pika, and Drifty got up and ran around in circles repeatedly yelling "Wow!", "Yahoo!", and "Eee!" repsectively. Many of the people on the ferry gave them nasty looks. "Pika, Hex, Drifty, for frick's sake, sit down!" N yelled angrily. They slowly sulked back to their seats, and all was silent... for a moment. "Alola-ah! Alola-ah! Ah-ah-ah! Alola-ah!" "Eee for the three thee eees!" "Go go rocket blaster shoes!" "Shut up, you idiots! We'll be kicked off the ferry!" N shrieked. Drifty, Pika, and Hex looked at each other, got up again, and burst into song while dancing. "Eee, out where the mountains fell on top of us!" "What?" "Out where lightning hit me in the knee!" "In the knee? What?!" "I can swear there's some ancestral spirits watching me!" "What?!" The people on the ferry were getting more annoyed by the minute. "Eee, I really can't remember this part!" "But it sounded pretty cool!" "And I feel like I'm rollin' around in the mud!" "...What...?" "Eee, eee, eee..." "I want a gyro!" "I'll be holding a gyro 'till the end of the night!" N suddenly stuck out his foot and tripped Pika, and she fell straight to the ground. Hex and Drifty stared at her for a minute, then turned towards N. "You meanie!" Drifty cried and tried to slap N with his ribbons. "Kamikaze!" Hex yelled and leaped into the air, trying to body slam N, but he quickly dodged. "Ow!" she whimpered as she hit the ground. "What is wrong with you-" Suddenly, the ferry docked at a pier. "Oh, we're here, finally..." N muttered. The people on the ferry exited as quickly as possible, trying to get away from Pika, Hex, and Drifty. "Mr. Natural Harmonia Gropius, you're a lamehead." Pika said with her face buried in the floor. N slowly turned towards her, gawking. "...What's a lamehead?" "You." Pika replied. N could hear muffled laughter and whimpering from Hex. Drifty almost fell over laughing at him and repeatedly said "Lamehead!" while pointing at him. N groaned angrily as Hex and Pika both got to their feet. "Come on." N said as they got out of the ferry.

Meanwhile, Pika, Hex, and Drifty had reached the clearing that Ghetsis had been tied up in before. However, all that was there was a few stray ropes. "Huh? Where's Jetsister?" Hex asked cluelessly. Pika looked confused. "He must've got loose... wonder who untied him." "Eee, maybe he chewed through the ropes and lost all his teeth." Drifty said, shrugging. "We couldn't get that lucky!" Pika said, bursting into laughter. "Hey, let's split up and look for Laniky! Maybe we'll find her!" Hex said. "All right! I'll go that way, you go that way, and Drifty, go that way." Pika said, pointing. "Roger that!" "Eee!" Hex and Drifty said, dashing off, while Pika did the same. After about half an hour, Pika and Hex met up in the clearing. "Where's Drifty?" Pika asked. "I dunno, haven't seen him..." "Maybe he's still-" "Eee!" The two of them turned to see Drifty run into the clearing, looking surprised. "Drifter!" Hex exclamed. Pika snorted in amusement. "I got news! Eee! One of my friends says he saw a ship floating off, and guess what? There was a girl and this one funny-looking weirdo guy in it!" Drifty cried. "Wait, really?!" "Yeah! The guy had some weird thingy over one of his eyes and was wearing a weird robe thingy! And the girl looked exactly like Kylani! Eee!" Pika and Hex stared in shock. "Why was Laniky hanging out with Jetsister on some ship?" "Beats me!" Then Hex looked deep in thought. "Hey, guys? What if... what if Laniky joined Jetsister to help him with whatever he's trying to do?!" she cried. "W-What?!" "You mean... she joined the bad guys?! Eee?!" "It all makes sense now!" Hex exclaimed. "You're right! She must've snuck away so she could team up with him without us knowing! So she was just pretending to be our friend! She's probably gonna come up with some plot and get rid of us! It's what Ghetsis has been wanting to do, after all!" Pika snarled. Hex and Drifty nodded. "Huh...? What are you yelling about...?" asked a voice. They turned to see a green-haired boy staring at them in confusion. "Oh, nothing, M. Just Laniky's run off and teamed up with Jetsister and is probably gonna try to kill us, that's all." Hex said casually while rolling her eyes. N blinked, seemingly unable to understand what Hex was saying. Pika glared at him. "Kylani has gone evil and teamed up with Ghetsis and is probably gonna kill us!" she said angrily. N's eyes went wide. "What?! What did you say?!" "I said that Kylani has gone evil and teamed up with Ghetsis and is probably gonna kill us!" "I heard you!" "Then why ask?!" "Eee, I'm confused..." Drifty muttered. N turned toward him. "Did that... did that Sylveon just...?" N asked. "Yes, M, he did! He really did!" Hex yelled sarcastically. "Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean, Kylani's teamed up with Ghetsis?" N asked. "I mean exactly what I said! Her and Ghetsis were boatin' off to who knows where!" "What if Kylani was captured by Ghetsis? Or went along unwillingly?" N continued to ask. "Eee, nope. She had a Decidueye sent out and they looked perfectly okay. Weren't restrained or anything. And Ghetsis was turning the wheel. Kylani seemed pretty willing to me..." Drifty said, shaking his head. "Then... then why?! Why would she...? I thought that... I thought that she..." "You aren't the only one who feels betrayed, you know, Mr. Harmonia!" Pika cried. N cringed. "Uh, what did you just call me...?!" "Chill, Mr. Harmonica!" "Harmonica...?!" N said, his voice practically an angry squeak. "Shut up!" Pika snarled at N. "What did I do?!" N cried. "Ugh, I'm sick of this! I know what we should do! We should track down that boat and teach Kylani a painful lesson in what happens when you betray the people that care about you!" Pika said, cracking her knuckles. "Wait, what?! Painful lesson?! What are you planning to do?!" "Good idea! I got some spells that'll help! Maybe my Fire spell'll come in handy!" "Fire spell?! You're going to set Kylani on fire?!" "I'll show her too! Let me at her! Eee!" "What in the absolute frick is wrong with you people?!" N shrieked in rage. Pika, Hex, and Drifty slowly turned towards N, glaring. He took a deep breath. "Whatever happened, I'm sure that Kylani had a good reason!" "Yeah, betraying your friends for no reason has to have a good reason." Pika snarked. N continued, ignoring her. "We have to find out why Kylani did it before we beat her up or cast Fire spells on her. We have to find out where that ship was headed and follow them." For a moment, everything was quiet. Pika hadn't made a furious retort, but she was still giving N nasty looks. Drifty sighed heavily and said "Eee, my friend said that it was heading towards Unova. If ya don't hurry, ya probably won't catch up to it." Hex looked at him. "Drifter, you sound like Pika." she said, snickering. "Eee? I do?" "Well, aside from all the eees, that's how Pika talks." Hex laughed. Drifty and Pika both gave her a confused look. "All right, towards Unova. Now we know where it's going, but... how will we catch up to it?" N asked. "Take a boat, duh." Hex said. "What boat?" "...Uh... I dunno." Hex said, shrugging. N sighed. "What do we do, Mr. Natural Harmonia Groupius?" "What...?!" "Dude, that's his full name?" Hex asked. "Yep." Pika replied. Hex and Drifty almost fell over laughing. "Stop calling me that, and stop laughing!" N yelled angrily. "Okay, okay! Sheesh." Pika muttered. "Eee, what do we do? What do we do? Huh?" "I... I don't know. But we'll think of something." N said. For a minute, all was silent. "Eee. Eee. Eee. Eee. Eee. Ee-" "Drifty, for heck's sake, cut it out!" "Eee..." Pika and Hex burst into laughter. N gave them nasty looks. Suddenly, Hex cried "I got it!" The group turned around to face her. "We could take a ferry!" "A ferry?!" "Eee?!" "Wait, there's a ferry headed to Unova?!" "Maybe." Hex said, scratching her head. Drifty and N sighed, then turned to see that Pika was dashing off. "Hey, wait!" N called after her, and they took off in pursuit. After a little while, they had reached the Hau'oli City Ferry Terminal. Pika practically knocked the doors over dashing in, yelled loudly, then fell face-flat to the ground. Hex and Drifty were also running fast and tripped over Pika. N was slowly stumbling into the building, and upon seeing the small pile of Pika, Hex, and Drifty, he sighed heavily and facepalmed. Pika looked up to see that everyone was staring at them in shock. "...Uh." she muttered, looking confused. N walked up to a lady. "Uh, excuse me... is there a ferry that goes to Unova?" he asked. "Unova? Yes, there's a ferry bound for Castelia City in Unova in about thirty minutes." said the lady. "Okay, thanks." "Really?! That easy?!" Hex cried from the floor. "Hex?" "Yeah?" "Be quiet." "Meanie..." Hex muttered. "Get up, you three, the ferry's coming in thirty minutes." "Eee, we heard, we heard..." Drifty groaned as he, Pika, and Hex started getting up. N sat down in a chair and said "This is going to be a long thirty minutes..."

Back in the meadow, no one has noticed that Kylani was gone. Pika, Hex, and Drifty are joking, running around, and doing other random stuff. After a minute, Hex called "Hey, Laniky! Wanna join in on the fun?" There was no response. Then Hex, Pika, and Drifty turned around to see that Kylani was gone. "Eee?" "Hey, she's gone... why'd she just leave all of a sudden?" Pika asked. "I dunno. Should we look for her?" "Yeah." Pika replied, and the two of them started to walk away. However, Drifty leaped in front of their path, looking sad. "Eee..." "Huh? What's up, Drifty?" "Maybe he's taken a liking to us." Hex said. Drifty looked at them sadly and his eyes sparkled. "Uh..." Pika and Hex muttered, unable to look away. "Do you... wanna come with us?" Pika asked. Then Drifty smiled, went "Eee!" and ran in a joyous circle. "I take that as a yes!" Hex said, smiling. "Okay, let's look for Kylani!" "Let's go!" "Eee!" Then everything was silent. "...Uh... question is, where do we look first?" Pika asked. "Hey, remember when I tied up Ghetsis?" Hex and Drifty glanced at each other. "Eee... nope." "Oh yeah, you weren't there." Pika said, embarrassed. "Who's Jetsister?" Hex asked cluelessly. Pika almost fell over laughing. "You have a jet and a sister? Eee..." Drifty said jealously. Pika, who was trying to regain her composure, said "Actually, I don't have either!" before bursting into laughter again. Hex and Drifty looked even more confused. After a minute, when Pika had finally calmed down, Hex asked "So, where'd ya tie up Jetsister?" "I think it was nearby... let's go look. Maybe Ghetsis has died by now." Pika replied, chuckling, as the three of them headed in the direction of the clearing.

"It's in Unova?" Kylani asked Ghetsis, staring at a ship that was sitting in the water. "Well, obviously. I came from Unova, you know." Ghetsis replied with a bit of a bragging tone to his voice. Kylani tried not to roll her eyes. "Come on, let's go. The sooner we're in Unova, the-" "Uh... Ghetsis? The ship isn't docked. We can't get into it." "Huh?" Ghetsis turned towards the ship, only to see it wasn't touching land and was very slowly drifting away. "Argh!" he cried angrily, and stomped his foot on the ground. Kylani sighed and pulled out a Poké Ball. Then she threw it into the air, revealing a Decidueye. "Decidueye, can you fly me to that ship?" she asked it, and pointed at the ship. It looked at her, the ship, and Ghetsis in turn, then flew up and grabbed Kylani's shoulders with its talons and flew towards the ship. Then it let go of her and landed beside her. "Thanks, Decidueye." Kylani said, and turned to see Ghetsis still throwing a temper tantrum. She sighed again. Decidueye flew toward Ghetsis and carried him over to the ship as well. Upon landing, Ghetsis muttered "Stupid ship..." and walked over to the wheel. "All right. Let's go." As the ship slowly sailed away, Kylani watched the land slowly get smaller. She wondered how the others would hold up while she was gone. Pika would probably get in trouble, Gladion would most likely be recovering from his sickness, Lillie would be trying to make him feel better as soon as possible, Hex might accedently destroy something with her magic... N would be worried about her, she knew for sure. Tears started streaming from her eyes. Even though she wasn't leaving for long, she couldn't help but feel like she had abandoned her friends. How would they feel that she left? Would they feel abandoned? What if they ran into something and needed her help? "...No... they'll be okay... it's just for a while, after all... and then I'll be back... it can't get too bad... can it...?" Kylani looked up to see that the land had disappeared from view. "...I hope they'll be okay..." she muttered, staring off into the distance.

In the middle of looking for the clearing, Kylani suddenly heard something. She stopped dead in her tracks. It sounded like footsteps. Were Pika and Hex following her? She turned around and looked back and forth, with no sign of them, and she said "Phew..." in a relieved manner. "What are you doing?" asked a voice, and Kylani was so startled she screamed and whirled around. Gladion was standing in front of her, looking shocked by her screaming. "Oh, Gladion, it's just you! Don't sneak up on me like that!" she scolded him, causing him to raise an eyebrow. Then she noticed that he seemed to be a bit weak, as his movements were slower than usual and his walking was unsteady and he was a bit hunched over. She stared at him, and his eyes suddenly started to burn with anger. "Are you gonna laugh at me too?" he asked aggressively. "H-Huh? What do you mean, laugh at you? What's up?" she asked, bewildered. "It was Pika and her buddy." "You mean Hex?" "Yeah, they came to the mansion and Hex called me Gladiator and said I was the Hunchback of Notre Dame, whatever that is. And then her and Pika just... laughed at me!"  he growled angrily. Kylani could understand why he was so upset. "Well, that wasn't funny to do! It was just rude!" Gladion seemed surprised. "You... you don't agree with them?" "No, I don't. Pika and Hex are my friends, but they were just being rude for no reason! I can't always agree with them." she said. "That's the one thing about Pika that really bugs me... sometimes she can be a bit... insensitive. I guess the same goes for Hex too." "A lot of things about Pika bug me. She's rude and careless and always drags people into things, and she's a big klutz to boot! Seriously, I don't have a clue why her and Lillie are such good friends..." Gladion muttered. "I think... I think it's because of the fact that Pika's acted like a big sister to your sister. She has flaws, yes, and they can drive people crazy. But she's always acted like that. Maybe that's why they get along, even though their personalities are so different." "Or maybe it's because Pika always tries to charm people into being her friend..." "Huh? What do you mean?" "It should be pretty obvious. She knows she's really annoying to others, so she tries to cover it up with cuteness and act like a little angel." "I don't... remember that happening..." Kylani muttered, confused. "Oh, whatever." Gladion muttered. "Uh... okay then. Well, I gotta go." she said, starting to walk off. "Thanks." "Huh?" "For not laughing or making fun of me. Thanks." Gladion said, seeming to have calmed down. "You're welcome. Bye!" Kylani said happily as she ran off in the direction of the clearing.

Kylani soon found the clearing. It was hard to miss, because Ghetsis was still there and still screaming. "Argh!" Then he noticed Kylani walking towards him. "You're one of those little brats!" he yelled angrily. Kylani knew this was her chance. "Not anymore." "What?!" "I'm not part of Pika's group anymore." "And why is that?!" "It's because of Pika. I realized just how much of a jerk she can be. She's been insulting Gladion because he was sick, and he's really tired of it, and, to be honest, I am too. So I left." Kylani said, feeling guilty that she was lying. Ghetsis gave her a sceptical look. "How can I believe you?" he asked. "That's not all. It had to do with N as well." she said. Ghetsis suddenly looked angry, and Kylani knew that it was working. "Me and N were trying to save an injured Growlithe from his Trainer, and he was poisoned by a wild Salandit. But then he said that I had wanted him to get poisoned because I forgot Pecha Berries and Antidotes! And, to make it worse, he told everyone about it, and they believed every word he said! They've been acting like I've done something wrong, and I couldn't stand it any longer!" Kylani cried, once again lying. Ghetsis seemed to be falling for it. "So... why are you here?" "Why? Simple. I want to join you." "What?" "I know how much you hate those guys, and, let's be honest, so do I. If we teamed up, we could get rid of them. Not to brag, but I could easily beat any of 'em in a Pokémon battle." she said. Ghetsis seemed to be pondering it. Then Kylani started untying him. "Oh, sheesh... how many knots did Pika tie this in...? She doesn't even know how to tie knots, and it ended up in half a million anyway..." she muttered. Then the ropes came undone and Ghetsis tried to stand up, only to fall face-flat to the ground. Kylani bit her lip to stop herself from laughing. When he finally did stand up, he said "Sounds like a good deal to me. So, you'll help me get rid of them?" "Of course. That's what I just said." Kylani replied. "Good. Then let's go and plot our revenge."

Two girls were walking through a meadow, looking a bit upset. Then another girl dashed towards them, waving. "Hey! Pika! Hex!" she called happily. They both turned around and stared at her. "Hi, Kylani." Pika said. Hex just stared at her feet. "Pika, what happened? You seem kinda down." Kylani asked. "What? Oh, it's... it's nothing." For a minute, everything was silent, and Kylani looked confused by it. "Uh... so, how was Gladion?" she asked. Pika and Hex both opened their mouths, but didn't say anything. "H-He's all right, isn't he...?" "...Yeah. He's... fine." "Oh, okay. Phew... you made me think he was feeling worse for a second. But... why do you two look so upset?" "Uh... for no reason...?" Hex said, looking nervous. Pika suddenly became agitated. "Kylani, I'm not in the mood for twenty questions, okay?!" Kylani flinched. "Yeah, Laniky, we're kinda... in a bad mood." Hex muttered. "L-Laniky...?!" "Uh... nothing." "Come on, Hex. Let's go." "Okay." Hex replied, and the two of them walked off. Kylani stared after them in confusion, wondering what had happened. "H-Hey, wait!" she yelled and followed them. "Pika, what happened? I know something must've happened, or you'd probably be in a better mood." Pika didn't answer, and her and Hex sighed heavily and kept walking. Kylani kept following them. Then they suddenly heard "Eee!" and looked to see a Sylveon running around in the meadow, playing. "...Huh?" they all muttered at once. Then it did a giant leap and fell face-first in the grass, then got up, spitting out grass due to the landing. "Ew..." it muttered. "Is... is that... is that Sylveon talking...?" Kylani asked, staring in shock. The three of them glanced at each other. Then Pika stepped towards it. "Hi!" she said in a friendly manner, crouching down next to it. It looked at her sideways, looking confused. Kylani and Hex held their breath, not knowing how it would react. Then it suddenly smiled and cried "Eee!" again, and jumped on Pika's head before jumping off of it and dashing towards Hex and Kylani. They looked back and forth, wondering how to dodge, then the Sylveon crashed into Kylani's legs and knocked Kylani to the ground and itself unconscious. For a second, everything was silent. "...Uh..." they all said at once, staring at the unconscious Sylveon. "What in the world...? Ow... I have... no clue what just happened." Kylani muttered, getting to her feet. "Sheesh, looked like a pretty tough Tackle or whatever she used..." Hex said. Pika just gawked. Then the Sylveon stirred. "...I... I'm a..." "Holy crud, she does talk!" Pika exclaimed. "...I'm... a... boy... eee..." it said. Pika, Hex, and Kylani looked at each other. "...Oh. Whoopsie." Pika said, smiling nervously, looking a bit embarrassed as the Sylveon got to his feet. Hex seemed to share her embarassment. But Kylani was barely paying any attention. She realized that the meadow her and her friends were in was nearby the clearing Ghetsis was tied up in. "So, uh... do you have a name?" Pika asked the Sylveon."Drifty!" he responded happily. "Ah, okay! Now we know what to call ya!" "Okay, Drifter! Nice name!" Hex said, smiling. Both Pika and Drifty stared at her strangely. "What? What did I do?" she asked. Then they started laughing in a cheerful manner. However, Kylani started walking away. She had to find Ghetsis.

I switched LeafBladeLeafeon with SolarBeamLeafeon. Dunno which one's better.

Also, I have blue eyes in real life too! I also have red hair and skin so light I can see the blue veins in my hands! :)
