Grookey is a Grass type Pokémon introduced in Generation 8.

Grookey is one of the First Partner Pokémon available in Pokémon Sword & Shield along with Scorbunny and Sobble. It appears to be based on a squirrel monkey.

Grookey is a mischievous Pokémon, full of boundless curiosity. Its green fur creates energy from sunlight. Wilted flowers and leaves have been seen to regain their color when Grookey drums with its stick near them.
