What does pkrs mean?

ok so I got this lugia and where it should show a status problem it showed this thing in purple saying pkrs. then, other Pokemon in my bag started getting it. I am scared for the egg I have from roserade!

PKRS stands for PokeRus, a virus that lets your Pokemon gain DOUBLE the EV points per fight. It's a good thing, so don't worry. It's pretty rare, so congrats!
