Okay, so this is my team that I mainly use in Random Matchups: Rotom w/ Light Clay, Scizor w/ x Defend, and Chansey w/ Eviolite. ( Depending on opponent's team, I will replace Chansey with Hitmonchan, Latias, or Dragonite )
~ Strategy: I send out my Rotom first, and use either Reflect or Light Screen, ( depending on opponent's first Pokemon ), then Volt Switch to Scizor. I will have Scizor use Substitute, then use Iron Defense 1-3 times, ( depending on how injured my Scizor is ), then Baton Pass to my Chansey. Now that my Chansey will be an unbreakable wall ( almost ), I'll use Minimize 3 times. Then I'll poison the enemy with Toxic and spam Seismic Toss with the added poison effect. If the opponent has a Steel type out, I'll just spam Seismic Toss; if there's a Ghost type, I'll use Toxic and spam Softboiled; if there's a Gengar out, then I'm just screwed lol, but not many people use Gengar anyways.
My Scizor's item is just there, I don't know what else to give it. And I know if the enemy Taunt me, it'll mess up my plan, so would it be better if both my Rotom and Scizor had Taunt themselves, which will help and also prevents the enemy from setting up? I don't have a set strategy with Hitmonchan, Latias, and Dragonite, I just wing it and go all out offensive, since they don't have any status changing moves anyway.
Is this a good strategy? If not, please explain, and please give some advice on how I can improve! Maybe changes in Pokemons, moves/moveset, and held items? Anything (:
