Is this normal or lucky?

I had found the two legendarys Regirock (caught with a dragonair) and Azelf and I battled them to their last legs and caught regirock with a dusk ball on my second try and azelf with an ultra ball within 4 trys. is this normal or is this some luck or damage done to my cartridge that affects catch rates?)

Luck + based off the catch rate as they had low health and you used pokeballs that A. fit the situation or B. were top of the line pokeballs.

It may just as well have been the the same formulas and you would have spent forever which is why you got kind of lucky.

The odds were in your favor.
