Would this work with slaking?

In a double battle if I have a cofagrigus and a slaking in battle at the same time and I have slaking attack cofagrigus will it have mummy and get rid of truant?

Note that you need to have a contact move that Cofagrigus isn't immune to; I suggest Smack Down, since that's the lowest power move that makes contact, or one of the elemental punches if you don't want to waste a move slot.
