Yes. If you cut the ds off during random matchup, you will not be able to participate in a random matchup battle for an hour. You will also not obtain Battle points (B.P.) after exiting random matchup. If it still wont let him on after an hour, save, cut off the ds, and try again. If it still messes up, it may be a glitch.
