Sowpoint City Problem in Platinum?

In Pokémon Platinum, I'm having trouble getting to Snowpoint City. I got the 6th gym badge then defeated Saturn after the explosion at lake Valor. Is there a step I'm missing?

After defeating Saturn, you must...

1. Lake Verity: beat the Galactic Grunts and Commander Mars.
2. Mt. Coronet—>Route 216: go through Mt. Coronet and exit to Route 216.
3. Route 216—>Route 217—>Acuity Lakefront—>Snowpoint City: collect the HM Rock Climb and then go east (right) to Snowpoint City. You can't go into Acuity Lakefront yet, so just go to Snowpoint City.
