In Pokemon emerald should I teach my metagross explosion for the frontier brain battle?

My metagross keeps on loosing to him so I was thinking of just teaching him it to get rid of both Pokemon? (my other Pokemon is latios)

And which pokemon are you losing to? It really depends.

I find the awnser completely dependent on the circumstances and preferences. Explosion is a good sacrifice move when metagross is in a pinch, but is your metagross even a physical attacker? Would you even be able to fit explosion in your moveset? So its really up to you.
