Is Arceus an event Pokemon, if not how do you get it?

Arceus is only obtainable via event as for Dialga and Palkia they can only be found in Diamond / Pearl / Platinum.(I did not include the ones from HG/SS because they need Arceus to get them.)

To catch Arceus, you need an Azure Flute. Unfortunately, the even to get the Azure Flute has passed.

However, you can catch Dialga at the Spear Pillar, but only in Diamond and Platinum.

You can catch Palkia at the Spear Pillar, but only in Pearl and Platinum.

Arceus has always been an event exclusive Pokemon.

In D/P/PT/HG/SS
- There was an event that made you obtain the Heaven's Pipe. When you got to Spear Pillar the Pipe would sound, and a staircase would appear that would lead you to Arceus who was ready for battle, at lv.80
- There was another Event
