Though, Beat Up is far outclassed in terms of a Physical Dark type move by Knock Off, Sucker Punch, and formerly Pursuit. As far as I can recall, only Technician Ambipom used it in competitive singles in previous gens, though it prefers other moves in later games.
In doubles however, it's common for a Physical Attacker with Justified to be paired with a Special Attacker or Support Pokémon with Beat Up, such as Terrakion and Whimsicott.
