What is the formula that is used to calculate your fare on the Lumiose Cab [Unresolved]?

I'm pretty sure it's distance. I've been on South Boulevard, taken a cab to somewhere on that Boulevard, and it was rather cheap; but I later went to that same place from the North Boulevard, and it was much more expensive.

I think its random, I went to the exact same cab twice, went to the exact same place, and one was 3100 dollars and the other was 710.

Your fare is based on the distance you are travelling. I'm not aware of a formula, but people have already figured out all the costs.

The base fare is 710, and the driver will give you a 50% discount once you hit a certain level of stylishness.
Bulbapedia has already conpiled a full table of the prices, which is why I'm thinking they might have programmed the values in rather than a formula.
