Does breeding with a Ditto ensure the passing of an ability? (Pokemon Y)?

I'm trying to breed a Togepi with Serene Grace, and the father Togetic, who I'm breeding with Ditto, has a different ability. It's still possible to breed a Togepi with Serene Grace right?

Bulbapedia says:

>When breeding with non-Hidden Ability females in Generation V, there is an 80% chance that the Ability slot of the female will be passed to the baby. For example, when breeding a female Venomoth with Shield Dust, the resultant Venonat has an 80% chance of having Compoundeyes rather than Tinted Lens. This change does not apply if Ditto is used as either parent.

So its not 100% but you have a pretty high chance.

I know this is necroposting, but I can't help but point out how contradicting the "This change does not apply if Ditto is used as either parent." part is to the entire rest of the answer :/
