Can Smeargle pass down Volt Tackle to a baby Pichu?

Question

I just had a thought but I don't know if it would work...? What if Smeargle uses Sketch on Red's Pikachu to learn Volt Tackle, and seeming as Smeargle and Pikachu are both in the 'Field' egg groups, will Smeargle be able to breed with a female Pikachu to pass Volt Tackle onto Pichu?

I'm sorry, but Volt Tackle is not an egg move for the Pichu family. It can only be taught to Pichu by breeding with a Light Ball. You can always use thief on his Pikachu and breed with one from Viridian Forest.
